Level up your finds with Mental Metal Detecting. I film real-world hunts at Civil War sites, colonial permissions, ghost towns/coal camps, beaches, rivers, and underwater—and break down tones, IDs, swing speed, coil control, recovery speed, iron bias, and target separation.
What you’ll find here:
• Field hunts with live digs and site strategy
• Beginner how-tos (first detector, settings, permissions, research, grids)
• Gear reviews & comparisons (XP Deus II, Minelab Manticore/Equinox, Garrett Vortex, Nokta Legend, coils & pinpointers)
• Testing & tips for mineralized soil, iron-infested sites, and beach saltwater

Mental Metal
Mental Metal Intelligence Issue 008 is ready for paid members.
This week’s report includes ten useful detector videos, eight upcoming events, an active Deus II HF2 discussion, firmware and price monitoring across 40 machines, and the three newest Mental Metal videos.
The goal of MMI is not to repeat everything published during the week. It is to separate useful information from ordinary hunts, repeated tests, unsupported claims and promotional noise.
