Will you be taking part in Heritage Open Days?

Do you know what that is? Well for those that don't, Heritage Open Days are a nationally recognised week of events and free open days to many of the UKs heritage sites. "Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are FREE to explore."

This year's open days are between 11-20th September.

Last year I was able to go around Lulworth Castle. A place on my doorstep that I knew very little about.

This year I am going to try and visit two local sites. Highcliff Castle and Hurst Castle. Partially for the experience and partially for the content.

Each of these places affords a good day out, free parking and access to history that might not otherwise be available to some.

No video this weekend. I'm taking some family time out. I will be back next week to finish off my USA travels and then moving on to puzzling Cornwall adventures, day trips to some lovely places, filming a TV show and a quick trip to Thorpe Park. I'm looking forward to editing all of them and I hope you'll like what I've got coming up too.

Hello all! I am sorry for the delay in getting the next video from my adventures online. I completely lost my mojo while editing and got stuck in knowing what to do. I took my husbands advice and edited something else for a different project and I was able to get out of my rut and just push through.

I've decided to upload my videos weekly on Sunday evenings as that's when most of you watch my stuff so the next one abosrd Queen Anne will be available at 5pm on Sunday 8th June (BST) and I hope you all enjoy!
