Decades after the last streetcar rolled down Van Nuys Boulevard, rail is officially on its way back.
Today, the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Transit Project broke ground, kicking off work on a 6.7-mile line with 11 new stations through Van Nuys, Arleta, and Pacoima.
