Shout out to Phil C. who is lending me the Amir set, we got to meet and exchange some shaving goodies in person and I had a great time just chatting it up with him over some coffee this past week!

The scent on Amir is top notch and quite strong! Main notes are rose, oud and patchouli and if you’re into fragrances at all, you might be familiar with this combination! I can’t say this one will be for everyone, but I personally enjoyed it, getting a complex blend that is woody, powdery, with just a bit of sweetness to bring it all together.

The custom Turning by TanZ brush is an always a pleasure to use, this Vaporwave colorway just giving me ALL the 90’s vibes. This was one of three brushes I added to my collection in 2023.

Had a great live shave on Instagram with this set up! I’ll be testing out some new-to-me blades on my upcoming shaves and my first use of the Gillette Minora went smoothly! Keep in mind these are early impressions, but I’d say this was more sharp than smooth and similar to the Gillette Nacet.

Trotter brush in a matte burnt butterscotch always whips up a wonderful lather, and some shaving buddies might have convinced me to add another to my collection some time later this year.

Lastly, the triple collaboration that is Cerberus Fougere brought an excellent shave with a fantastic, clean, green scent, should this be released again in the Spring, I’d highly recommend grabbing a set!
