However, it's things like this that make me question where I'm going with this channel. If an entire video of mine can be debunked as easily as I can fall for an April Fool's prank and accidentally spread misinformation, do I have any real integrity as a YouTuber? I'm wondering now if I should even bother with the NBC Kids video at all.

Since my Christmas Special was such a disaster this year, I want to make up for it at least a little bit by offering you all my heartfelt Christmas wishes again. I know Apple Boy is working on a couple videos for Medora Entertainment, and I'll probably use my history hiatus as an opportunity to catch us up on Erik Reads the Railway Series. I've also got a couple of more minor videos that I was already working on before my hiatus, so I'll probably finish those up, too. In any case, I just want to remind all of you that I'm not quitting; I just need some time to make my history videos into something much better than what they have previously been.

I also thank them for being so gracious and understanding and being one of the few people on the Internet who is willing to engage in genuine constructive criticism instead of character assassination and insults.
What I think I need to do is take a hiatus for a while to re-examine how I do my videos. I clearly need to at least put more effort into researching them, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that. If there's anyone who can offer some advice on how to conduct in-depth research on obscure topics like Asteroid Andy, I would love to hear it. In any case, it's clear that I need to do better. Unfortunately, as I am a college student, I don't exactly have the time to revamp everything overnight. I do know, however, that engaging in more in-depth research would take far, far longer than what I have done in the past, possibly delaying my history videos considerably. So, the question remains: Would you all be willing to wait longer for a new history video? Or is it not worth it?
As for the 2025 Christmas Special, don't worry, I didn't delete it; I set it to unlisted, and you can still find it in some of the playlists I've created and on my Discord. However, I now consider the video to be somewhat of an embarrassment to my channel, so I do not want to highlight it anymore.
I don't know how long it'll take for me to get back to making history videos, but it probably won't be anytime soon. I'll probably make some more minor videos in the meantime (perhaps get back to Erik Reads the Railway Series), and Apple Boy may make some more videos for this channel as well, but there probably won't be any more of my history videos for a while. In any case, I'm not gone for good; I just need some time to get things together again.

Unfortunately, I'm saddled with too many plans at the moment to do a video about it at this point; the upcoming Cable in the Classroom video as well as an upcoming special video (or videos?) that I will formally announce in the upcoming weeks. Not to mention college has started up again, and I no longer have as much time on my hands. However, I will watch how this new Noggin develops over the coming months and, when I can, I will talk about it in a video.
Right now, all I can say is: WHY IN GOD'S NAME DID THEY CHANGE THE LOGO AGAIN?! Just use the 1999 logo! Jesus H. Christ!
Wow... 15K views in less than 10 days? I haven't seen one of my videos blow up like this so fast in a long time! I wasn't expecting this. And this has been accompanied by a bigger-than-usual influx of subscribers, so maybe I'll have to start working on the 9,000 Subscriber Special soon if this keeps up...

As for third place, it was close, but BBC Choice just barely won out with 38 votes. So, the next history video will be about Cable in the Classroom, followed by videos about NBC Kids and BBC Choice. Hopefully, someday, Weekend Adventure will stop finishing in last place...
However, the Cable in the Classroom video will have to wait, because this month I am producing a video about the shutdown of HBO Family. I MIGHT be able to produce the Cable in the Classroom video next month, but I'm working on something big for October, so I might not be able to make the Cable in the Classroom video until November. But I assure you, everything that's coming out in the next few months will be well worth the wait!
