So, ‪@aidan_hall‬ has just posted what I would consider one of the worst and ill-informed political slop videos that I have ever seen on YouTube with his "House Predictions". I want to rage SO HARD on his video but I know this isn't a rage channel. Should I? (I will be doing a full-length video on my ‪@davestakes‬ channel today).

If you have watched the video, let me know of other obvious errors that he has made. I've noticed a few, like the his clusterfucking of Iowa, Mike Lawler now representing Rochester, Florida having six "safe Democratic" seats, UP having three CDs, and mispronouncing the name "Begich", easily one of the most recognizable names in Alaska politics. Let me know below if you notice anything.

I don't know if you know, but so-called "polling firms" have falsified data in their so-called polls. One straight up admitted it and one was caught. I've linked the story below.

As many of you know, I have been extremely skeptical of polls. And this is the reason why. Polling firms have proliferated over the past 10 years, and there is zero accountability for any of them. When they are added to polling sites and aggregates, they simply explain their methodology, but anyone can do that. And faking a poll is extremely, extremely easy. There is no actual physical verification that these firms are actually contacting potential voters.

During this cycle, I've seen many questionable polls. And while I think the Democrats are going to do well this cycle, some of the polls I'm seeing coming out are hard to believe, and from firms that I have never heard of. On top of that, many of the "respected" polling firms, like Emerson, have been way off in the primaries.

This is why it will be hard for me to make any videos until we start seeing early votes and vote-by-mail. I'm don't want to react to any poll as I have zero trust in the polls. And as of right now, that's about the only thing to report on.

For me, I think it is better to try to create as many nowcasting models for the general election instead reacting to every fake poll.
