Check out the new Pokemon #Pokopia screenshots that have dropped! We can roughly translate the Japanese in the text (from the image with Bellossom in this preview, and also the Goomy in another one of the pics) to say "Yay! It's raining!" from Numera, or "Goomy" in English. And the words from Kireihana, or "Bellossom" in English, say "Hello, Ditto. On Sunny days, it really makes you want to go out, doesn't it? ♪ "
The ♪ adds a cheerful, sing-song vibe :) Can't wait to check this game out in March!!!

Bit of an update, I ramble too much so lemme break it down into "What Happened" + "Where We're At" + "Where We're Going" -
WHAT HAPPENED: Last year in February, I'm pretty sure they already had four casters for UNITE's Monthly Finals before ever landing on me; I think one of them just couldn't make it, and I was like a runner-up or the last kid picked in gym class, essentially, because they contacted me with just over a week's time to prepare and already had an email thread previously with the other three guys.
It's very hard for me to praise myself because I have a very low opinion/dislike of myself, but tbh I thought I *killed it* in the February Finals casting that I did. No clue why, but it seems that somebody didn't like my performance enough to basically never call me back again. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have done it, but it became a reminder of how the whole Pokemon UNITE casting scene started to go for me. I was the first person (the Father) to upload and do UNITE eSports-style commentary videos/casting, it's documented. I often feel that I started the casting scene in UNITE just for it to cannibalize me (and yes, other grassroots like Victory Road, Rush, etc., started the live tourney scene, not me there; just talking videos here), because channels much bigger than my brand new channel at the time started to do it too, but then also channels much smaller, and eventually it became a point where I had the support of VIEWERS (you guys/general viewership out there) but when you asked pro players about casters, my name was basically never thought of, yet I was the Father of it all and was still uploading multiple every week, etc. So eventually, I just... stopped uploading as much over time, as the interest in UNITE waned down, people moved on, and then UCS never called me back once to cast again even though I would've risen to the occasion with flying colors. Never say never but I'm pretty certain I won't get called upon to cast again in 2023 for the Championship Series/Worlds, but I would accept and be humbled if somehow I did.

WHERE WE'RE AT: I don't upload much over here because of the things I said above - even when things were going great, it was hard to maintain because this channel marks the *third* channel I have on YouTube. My first big channel is 196,000 subscribers/69 million+ overall views, and my second channel started Pokemon GO content in 2020 mostly reaching 27,000 subs and millions of overall views. We got to 10,000 subs here on UNITE before the events from above ^, I'm really grateful and proud to have your supports...the PEOPLE, not the players or the company, but the support of the PEOPLE. Thank you so much for that!
I also have a son who is now 5 years old, a great wife whom I try to be there for every day, and a job outside of all of this stuff. I'm straight-up burnt out and overworked, under-paid, and just stressed every day. COVID, therapy, eating bad foods, just everything is overwhelming.

WHERE WE'RE GOING: I will still cast Pokemon UNITE for any entity that wants/needs me - I still enjoy it in the live tourney scene, but making 2-3 uploaded videos of casting every week was killing me with all the other stuff I have in life. You don't *have* to do any of this, but if you WANT to see me cast in your favorite tournaments or in Worlds, use the power of Twitter or other social medias they post on! When UNITE eSports makes a Tweet, comment that you want to see Dr.Kendo casting in a tournament! They've already got their casters for February, but it's okay to even start now :D Again, you don't have to, but if you want to see or hear me, I'd be most grateful to have your barrage of support on their socials. This channel will probably just have the occasional once-a-month upload or so, until I figure things out with UNITE or otherwise... I understand if you need to unsubscribe because of that; that's fine, much luv!
If you enjoy Pokemon in general, I've been ADDICTED to the TCG card opening. I'll be focusing on that for a while, along with Pokemon GO, on the "DrKendo" channel - youtube.com/DrKendo
You can get a taste for that with videos like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Inol...
The paintings you see on this post are some Pokemon Card binders I've been making lately. I have to charge $15-20 for them but if you want one, let me know! Hand-painted by me!
If you'd like to keep in touch via Discord, I have one for the DrKendoCommentaries channel here - discord.gg/zeGGt2CU76
Always happy to talk to you guys :D Thank you for your love and support, sorry for writing so much, and sorry things have gone down the way they have with UNITE.

Many of you know I run 2 other channels aside from this one. The channel called "DrKendoCommentaries" has recently been making a pivot to Mario Strikers: Battle League content (if you like that game or are interested in my content for that, it's youtube.com/DrKendoCommentaries ), and today I just got the artwork attached to this post; it's my Mii decked out in Mario Strikers gear. It was made by none other than my favorite Pokemon UNITE player, Artryuuu! PLEASE go give her some love on Twitter and Twitch because she made me this fantastic artwork but it's also her Birthday!!!
Find her at www.twittter.com/Artryuuu and also at www.twitch.tv/ttv_artryuu

You may or may not need this, but I figured I would offer: Please *anyone* and everyone feel free to put your information down in the comments here if you are looking to join a team for Worlds or for Unite in general. Probably the best info to leave is your Masters # ranking and what Pokemon/role you play (if it's one specific one usually, or just type "any role" etc). This is the time to give people your info for contacting each other on Twitter or Discord as well, once you start a conversation with each other. And again, maybe this is unnecessary, IDK, but if it helps somebody, that's epic!
Also, can y'all listen to the song I made and uploaded? - https://youtu.be/cxjyq6sjuSc

I hear everyone on Japanese teams; your feedback will be a large part of what drives the channel direction for spectating, so thanks for letting me know. Please give me about 2-4 more days to fully recover from the COVID and then some new stuff will hit the scene here.
To address any complaints about too much TTV, I'd say it's only the majority because their team dominated Season 1, but once Season 2 started I also uploaded some other teams/players (individuals in the Focus Commentaries, Tanz/Ascendance, Good Morning, etc), and then COVID took me out of about 10+ days of uploading lately. Now that I plan on coming back during this week, the first things I wanted to accomplish were a Focus Commentary Spectating a Top Dragonite, since I never got to do that before my COVID, and then I also wanted to highlight a top female player in Pokemon Unite; probably won't say any more than that, to keep some mystery for those who weren't at the "Premiere" yesterday ;) We'll be looking into the Japanese meta & team spectating after those two projects.
Hope we're all ready to see some more amazing matches!!! And thank you for the *love* on the last Community Post I did - I had no idea so many of you cared about me as deeply as you do. It means SO much!!!

Hey there everyone, forgive the silence - it's been bad over here. My wife got a positive COVID test last week and I've obviously gotten it from her around then. Some people get it "light," it seems, but I started light for the first two days and was working through it, pushing myself, which I think did me in... I've felt like super garbage for the last 4 days or so :(
My voice went out from cough/sore throat, but there's also just been crazy fatigue & brain fog from the beginning. I'm probably "at risk" because I already had fatigue and brain fog from over-working and several past traumas.
Trying to do the best I can, but being that I want the commentaries here to be high energy & clear when I communicate, I really do have to wait until I'm absolutely 100% :(
I will probably soon Premiere all 3 of the semi-recent Sinister Cup Grand Finals matches as one full episode, just for a bit of enjoyment and to hold us all over until I am (hopefully) healthy again! I hope to beat this thing fully, but man, it has been *tough* !!!!!!!!!!

Definitely want to thank everyone again, we got me past 8k subscribers in a matter of minutes after that last Community Tab post. Since my life is so insane, I haven't gotten to our Q&A Special Stream yet, but hey, maybe by 9k subs it'll have been done ;)
My goal is before December is over, at least!
In the meantime, we'll try to maintain all the regular uploads and things; speaking of, enjoy the highlights from our first game/first attempt as Tsareena, here attached below!

Getting close! Q&A Live Stream special at 8k?
On the real, thank all of you very much for your support. After having two other YTube channels (194k & 25k subs), I started uploading consistently on this channel once Spectator Mode became a feature in late September and it was never about subs or views - it was about simply trying to entertain people with some [hopefully] great Pokemon Unite matches. I imagine that's what the channel will always continue to be about, but we can expand on that by maybe trying to do some charitable endeavors in the future & maybe one day we will be lucky enough to see the eSports scene of Pokemon Unite grow. Thank you again, and I'll be with you on whatever journey may arrive in the future!
