Hi Friends and Happy Halloween!!!

I have been working hard behind the scenes putting together the ArchaeoSMP Season 2 Movie / Director's Cut compilation!

The massive mega-episode is dropping tomorrow morning, tracking our complete chronological journey of all 13 historical builds from 9500 BCE to 1500 CE.

As we get ready to wrap up Season 2 and look forward to the launch of Season 3, this is the ultimate long-form video to catch up on anything you might have missed. It's built to throw up on a second monitor while you work, study, or build in your own Minecraft world!

Like any true Director's Cut, I have interspersed exclusive new footage, behind-the-scenes commentary, and inside insights at the end of every single segment to break down my choices and thought processes.

I think you are all going to really enjoy this massive historical deep dive. Thank you all so much for the incredible, ongoing support!

I am absolutely blown away by the incredible reception on yesterday's Inca video! Thank you so much to everyone who has watched, liked, and commented so far!

As we approach the finale of ArchaeoSMP Season 2, it is time to create ruined versions of our builds so we can copy their structural remains into the upcoming landscape of Season 3!

Before I do that I want to hear from you. Which era or specific build on our central lake clock timeline are you most excited to see transformed into an archaeological ruin?

Cast your vote below, and let me know in the comments if you want to see me ruin a build or multiple builds that I didn't put in the poll

Hi Friends!

Been a very long while since my last post! Sorry about that, but I got a new episode dropping on Saturday this week. I think you will like it. It is all about these little helpers! That one little guy is so excited to help sort my inventory that it is climbing over its friend! Also...the channel past 5000 subscribers! Can you believe it! I am blown away. I never thought that this little channel would find so many people who like the mash up of history, archaeology and minecraft! I want to thank off of you for all your support! Blessed to have such a great community!

Hi Friends!

Happy Saturday! The next Archaeological Minecraft episode will drop later today and will indeed be on Ziggurats! I decided it would be fun to recreate one in a 1 block to 1 meter scale! I think you are going to like it! The ziggurat I am recreating was build for the god Enlil by the Sumerian King Ur-Nammu in around 2000 BC and then reconstructed the Neo-Assyrian King Ashurbanipal some 1500 years later. Here is a 3D reconstruction of what it looks like today. Sadly it is hard for mudbricks to survive 4000 years. I also included a picture of a statue of what Enlil looked like and a cuneiform map of the city and ziggurat!

Hope you enjoy the episode!

Hi Friends, Sorry I have been a bit silent as of late and the videos a bit less frequent. As you know, I work a regular job and do this in my spare time as I am not a full time content creator. Unfortunately, work has been quite busy as of late which means I have had far less time than I would like to have fun and create these videos for all of you. Rest assured I am thinking through a number of options for the next few builds around my Archaeo SMP Season 2 base, and I thought it might be fun to give you a bit of a sneak preview of what I am mulling over. Please vote on how you maybe want me to prioritize them.

Thanks and I will be back making regular videos when I can (likely a couple of weeks).

Hi Friends!

Got an interesting question in the comments that I thought would make a nice post. In this question, a subscriber was looking to build an arena with some friends based on the Pompeii Amphitheater I recreated in Archaeo SMP Season 1. They were struggling creating the concentric ovals and...Yes!!!...that was super challenging, so I figured I would pop into my creative world and share some screenshots on how I did that from a side view to help y'all out in case any of you are trying to also recreate an oval shaped amphitheater.

Enjoy!

Hi Friends!

Wanted to say a quick thank you for all the comments and support the community has shown around the Minecraft Archaeology Challenge Mini-Series I am doing with ‪@daskalosBCE‬ , ‪@MC_Oda‬ and ‪@Milly_Craft‬ !! I also love how much all of you seem to be enjoying checking out Oda and Milly's videos to see how they are interpreting and excavating the archaeological site we are all working on that was created by Daskalos!

As you may have noticed I am following a slightly different excavation timeline that Oda and Milly have been and so I am going to alter my normal video release schedule to catch up a bit so what I am excavating doesn't fall to far behind. So, I am going to keep releasing a video each Saturday at the same time they are, but will be adding in a Wednesday video release as well for the next couple of weeks. So, be on the lookout for Episode 3 of the mini-series, this Wed. 3/26, Ep. 4 on Sat. 3/29. I think there will probably be 2 more episodes after that before the series completes.

Once I am done with the Mini-Series I will start posting again on the regular Saturday schedule with the normal Archaeological Minecraft videos often from Archaeo SMP Season 2!!!

Thanks!

Hi Friends!

Hope today finds all of you well! A number of you have been wondering in the comments where I have been, seeing as how I usually release a video every other week and haven't for a bit. Well, this month I had some health issues and had to spend some time in the hospital. But, happy to say, I am back home on the mend and back to working on some really cool Archaeological projects for all of you. First, I am wrapping up my latest Archaeological Minecraft episode on the Archaeo SMP and included some sneak peak screenshots on what that is about. Feel free to try and guess in the comments if you think what I am building. Second I am doing another collab with Daskalos, MC_Oda and Millycraft, so be on the lookout for something in the upcoming weeks on that! I think you all will love it!!!

Thanks for being a great community and for being patient with my slight delay but hope to soon be pushing out videos at the usual rate now that I am on the mend.

Thanks!
