Hello and welcome to my channel. My name is Adrienne and I've been scrapbooking and doing mixed media projects for over 20 years! I started out making scrapbook layouts, but have since added cardmaking, tags, mini albums and mixed media. But my heart lies with mixed media so you'll see lots of project tutorials about that paper crafting medium! I built my YouTube channel for fellow crafters. Here, you can expect to find process videos, tutorials and my best tips and tricks to help you in your own creative endeavors.

Sometimes you have an absolutely insane idea that you just have to create! And this project is definitely insane. Miniaturists will work on a single house for a year or more and I did this in 2 and half months--I was working on a design team deadline for Prima Marketing!
This little witchy potions cottage is full of Made of Magic collection details in every nook and cranny. From the owl atop the house to the wands on the door...and inside little glowing potions, bubbling cauldrons, a sweet ghost and a ton of tiny little books!

I just wanted to say hello and share an update! First if you are new here, hi, my name is Adrienne! I've been into paper crafting for 20+ years. (Did I just age myself?) I'm on the Sizzix & Prima design teams and love sharing fun, creative projects and tutorials.
Now on to the update. If you've been following me for a while, you've probably noticed I've slowed down a little online in the past several months. I'm trying to give myself a break from the daily grind and not just share content just for the sake of sharing content.
But there's another reason behind that slow down that is more important. Some of you may know that I've been struggling with my health for the past 3 years, and lately I've been hit with another round of severe fatigue.
I've been fighting with doctors at my regular clinic to get a referral to a rheumatologist; 3 years ago I started testing positive on the general autoimmune test. It's a very mild positive, and I've repeatedly been told I'm "not sick enough." But because I already have Fibromyalgia (a chronic pain disorder), all the new symptoms I'm feeling are compounded as Fibromyalgia exacerbates everything.
After documenting my physical symptoms (like arthritic joints and taking photos of a rash on my face), I finally got that referral. I saw the rheumatologist last week and received a preliminary diagnosis of mild lupus. I had additional testing done that day and I hope to get more results soon. In the meantime, I was prescribed a new medication that I start today. It has some fun side effects as my body gets used to the medication, like nausea, but I am happy that I'm finally on the road to getting the treatment I need.
So I've allowed myself to step back some from social media to process my feelings. At first I felt vindicated, but now the diagnosis is starting to set in. I'm having to comprehend living with 3 chronic conditions and feeling trapped in a body that is failing me, that sometimes keeps me from doing the things I love.
But like my Oma, I'm a fighter. And art is what makes life worth living. I may post less, but I'll keep creating and sharing my projects. Just know I'm going to go at a slower pace until I start to feel better.
And don't be surprised if you see a few "Spoonie" posts in the mix, especially in my Stories. (Spoonies are people living with chronic pain or other chronic conditions--you can look up the "spoon theory" online to learn where the term comes from and to learn what it is like to live with a chronic condition that limits you in your daily life.)
There is a lot of stigma and shame of living with chronic conditions, so I believe it's important to share my experience. I want others like me to know they are not alone, and for those without a chronic condition to understand more of what it's like. And I think I'm ready to start sharing those experiences to my Stories.

Simply fill the cavity of the mould with whatever theme of smaller mould you want and choose the color palette and you get endless possibilities! I'm so proud of my niece and her creativity! I just wanted to share some creations she made using the Sizzix Kids Create collection. She's in love with unicorns and rainbows, so of course she used that Stamp and Framelit set for both projects.
The first project is a fun sign for her bedroom door. For this project, we turned some cardstock into stickers by adding double-sided adhesive sheets to one side. She stamped and colored, then helped me die cut the images out. She placed the stickers onto a wood sign I pre-painted for her. Then she added some purple gems to it.
The second project is a dreamcatcher inspired craft that is decorated with stamped, colored and die cut unicorn elements.
