This Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 10AM, we will gather ONLINE ONLY for virtual worship (there will be no in-person service). We will continue and also conclude our study of Isaiah with a thought provoking message: “10 of the Most Vexing Verses in Isaiah.”
Whether you’re taking a walk and enjoying nature or relaxing and sipping your coffee, I hope everyone will join us virtually this Sunday.

D.E., Brandi, and our amazing staff are taking a soul-refreshing break this week. 🌿
Pastor Brandi and I will be taking some much needed time off. Because of this, all midweek gatherings and services are cancelled: Monday & Friday Devotions, Tuesday Connection & Wednesday Gospel of Inclusion.
Sunday, May 31 is a 5th Sunday, so there will be no in-person service. Instead, we’ll come together virtually—a chance to stay connected and share a meaningful moment, wherever you are.

Connection Cancelled Tuesday, May 19 ~ Join us Wednesday night for the Gospel of Inclusion study series!
The Tuesday Connection service is cancelled for tomorrow, May 19, 2026. Pastor LaDonna and I are assisting a family member during a time of need.

Game of Thrones ~ This Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 we will celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Game of Thrones, and gather for Eucharist! We will continue our Better Bible Reading with a study of 1 Kings and the power plays for the throne:
The throne of Israel trembles—not from foreign armies, but from whispers in the palace halls. An aging king clings to power as rival heirs circle like wolves, each backed by cunning prophets, ambitious mothers, and loyal—or treacherous—generals. Secrets are traded in shadowed chambers, alliances forged over sacrifice and broken just as quickly. One son exalts himself, declaring destiny is his to seize; another waits, hidden yet chosen, as a fierce queen moves pieces behind the curtain with ruthless precision. In this kingdom, crowns are not given—they are taken, anointed in oil and blood alike. And as the prophet’s voice cuts through the chaos, one truth remains: the throne may belong to a king, but the kingdom answers to God alone.
Following the service we will have a Mexican inspired lunch with nachos and mock-arita’s. Plan to stay for lunch & fellowship this Sunday.

Soap Opera Sunday ~ Power Struggles, Adultery, Arranged Murders, Family Breakdown ~ also known as 2nd Samuel! This Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., we continue our journey in Better Bible Reading. I am excited to work through the dramatic stories and theological narratives of arguably the most salacious book in the Bible: 2nd Samuel.
• Power consolidation and political intrigue
• Adultery and arranged death

• Prophetic confrontation…

Christian Triumphalism is the tendency to emphasize victory, power, and resurrection in a way that bypasses or silences suffering, lament, and the cross. Minimizing Good Friday to get quickly to Resurrection neglects the meaning of Good Friday, discourages honest lament and silences the voices of people who are suffering. However, when we practice a Eucharistic Solidarity we allow ourselves to feel the pain of the world around us.
Let us set our intention to practice a deep faith that includes voices of victory as well as the cries for liberation. Join us virtually this Good Friday, as we sit with Jesus, Mary and the disciples in their most difficult moment.
Remember to prepare your elements for our virtual communion. Any bread, crackers, juice or water will serve as a symbolic sacrament as we share this sacred space together.

Holy Week is upon us! This week is celebrated in diverse ways across the globe. And, the beauty of being a part of the Spirit and Truth family is that every week, every time we gather, it is Holy…because we are Holy!
We hope to see everyone this week as we gather for corporate worship. Here are our times for worship:
Sunday, March 29, 2026 is Palm Sunday! We will meet IN-PERSON, even though this is a 5th Sunday. We will also be joined by our friend, Dr. Tony McNeill!
Good Friday, April 3, 2026 we will share a virtual communion at 6:00 p.m. Join us as we honor the life and suffering of Jesus of Nazareth.
Sunday, April 5, 2026 is Easter! Wear your most colorful clothes and let’s celebrate the Resurrection power of the Christ within us!
Also, our children’s ministry has a big day of gifts and fun planned for our children. Don’t miss our annual Egg-stravaganza!

The forecast is projecting temperatures in the low teens for this Sunday morning. Whether it snows or not, our building does not heat or maintain warmth appropriately in freezing temps this extreme.
We will all gather virtually this Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for worship, “Better Bible Reading,” and virtual communion.
This week our subject will be Genesis Part 3 - “The Ancestral Histories.” The link to access and download notes is below and then, next Sunday, we will have printed notes for week 3 and 4 available in the foyer for your folders. Don’t miss this week’s teaching!
