I am having to rest again today. I have the doctors tomorrow, so hopefully, there will be some answers as to what is going on.

However, I have been reading the headlines, and I have come to the conclusion that we are doomed. The human race is doomed. People really are as thick as mince.

The sun is shining, my back is still very painful. I am very frustrated as I am not able to do much of anything at all. But, I shall sit in the garden for a little while I think.

Unfortunately, my weekend away has been scuppered by my back. I have a herniated disc for those who aren't aware and I must have slept funny last night. So, I have made my Autumn wreath for my door! It's a bit wonky, just like me!

No running for me today either. Lots of painkillers and a hot water bottle. It's also an excuse to avoid the housework!

WHERE WERE YOU?

Let us take some time today, to remember this awful terror attack and how it changed the world forever. Let us take some time today, to remember all of the people who lost their lives. Let us take some time today to honour all of the emergency workers who rushed to those buildings and not away from them.

I had taken the day off work and was sat at my dining table, doing a Tarot reading for myself. The Tower card appeared. Now, the tower card is a bad omen, but also has positive connotations - that things need to be broken down to be built back up again. Of course, that card didn't mean that on this day.

My friend rang me and told me to turn on my TV. I did. I was shocked. How could this happen. Of course, at the time we didn't know why it had happened or who was behind it. We just watched in horror as people's lives were ended and others were changed forever.

The war that ensued from this atrocity was fruitless. Yes, a violent regime was stopped, but similar threats still exist around the world today. When will it end?

So, take a moment to phone a loved one, hug a friend or hold a pet close. Take a moment to look at the sky and give thanks for the life you have as not everyone is as lucky. Take a moment to think of the emergency workers, all of them, who put their lives on the line for us every day.
