Honestly, massive credit to Thorpe Park for this 👏❤️

SAW valleyed yesterday because of the strong winds, and just ONE DAY later, it’s back open! The team were working late into the evening to get everything sorted, and you’ve got to respect the amount of effort that goes on behind the scenes.

This really shows how well Thorpe Park is operated and how dedicated the staff are. People don’t always realise how much work goes into running a theme park, especially when something unexpected like this happens.

Huge respect to the engineers, maintenance team and everyone involved in getting SAW back up and running so quickly, while making sure everything is properly checked and safe.

Thorpe Park genuinely deserve so much praise for this. It’s easy to criticise a park when something goes wrong, but it’s just as important to give credit when they do a brilliant job.

Massive well done to everyone involved! 👏🎢❤️

Massive props to the Thorpe Park engineering team who always do such an amazing job keeping this problematic coaster running! 👏❤️

We all know Stealth can be a bit temperamental, so getting it back up and running is no easy job!

I've just spent 2 unforgettable days at Alton Towers Resort, and for the first time in a long time, I genuinely left feeling proud of where this resort is heading.

Ever since the new management came in, you can feel the difference. The atmosphere, the energy, the attention to detail... it all feels like Alton Towers is finding its identity again.

The Minecraft experience is a fantastic addition for the younger guests, Cargo Global Eats is outstanding, and even the food we had at the Aramark restaurants really impressed us.

But what stood out most was the operation. Ride availability was incredible, with little to no downtime across the major coasters. Wicker Man and The Smiler were absolutely flying through their queues, and every member of staff we met was friendly, welcoming and clearly cared about giving guests a great day.

After hearing so much negativity over the past few years, it's refreshing to finally be talking about the positives again. This resort feels like it's moving in the right direction, and as someone who's visited for years, that's an amazing feeling.

There's just one thing missing...

We're ready.

Ready for that next major investment. Ready for that announcement that gets the whole theme park community counting down the days. Give us that game-changing project, and it won't just complete the comeback—it will begin a brand new era for Alton Towers.

The future feels exciting again. ❤️🎢

I've got an incredible month of theme park trips planned, and I can't wait to bring you along for every visit! Expect ride POVs, queue time updates, park news, and plenty of coaster content throughout August!

📅 August Schedule:
🎢 1st August – Thorpe Park Resort
🎢 3rd August – Alton Towers Resort
🎢 4th August – Alton Towers Resort
🎢 8th August – Thorpe Park Resort
🎢 15th August – Thorpe Park Resort
🎢 22nd August – Thorpe Park Resort
🎢 29th August – Thorpe Park Resort
🎢 31st August – Thorpe Park Resort

👀 A lot of people have been asking when I'll finally be heading back to Paultons Park... and the answer is... sometime in October! 😊

Although Paultons Park is only around 45 minutes away from me, I want to save my visit for later in the year. It is a bit more expensive compared to some of the other parks I visit, and I want to have something exciting to look forward to! 🎃

🧱 I'm also planning to head back to LEGOLAND Windsor at some point in August, although I haven't picked a date just yet.

🎡 I'm also going to try and fit in my first ever visit to Barry Island Pleasure Park sometime in August! I've never been before, and I'm really excited to experience the park and hopefully get a ride on Top Scan! 🔥

🏰 As for Chessington World of Adventures, I don't currently have any plans to visit again this year, at least not until Christmas.

The main reason is that Chessington is currently a bit of a construction site with ongoing work around the park, and with Vampire being closed, I don't personally feel it's worth the trip right now. This could definitely change in the future though, especially with Minecraft World opening in 2027, which I'm really looking forward to and will definitely be visiting for! 🎮

🚀 Some people might be wondering why there are so many Thorpe Park visits planned... The main reason is that Thorpe Park is one of my closest theme parks, along with LEGOLAND Windsor, making it much easier for me to visit more often compared to parks that are further away.

Also, because I have a Merlin Annual Pass, visits to Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and LEGOLAND Windsor are included, which makes it much easier to plan more trips throughout the year! 🎢

This means I can get more trips in, create more content, and enjoy more days at the parks! 🔥

It's shaping up to be an amazing few months of theme park adventures. Thanks for all the support, and I'll see you in the parks! 🎢

🚀 The History of Galactica at Alton Towers! 🌌

Did you know Galactica wasn’t always called Galactica?

Originally opening on 16 March 2002 as Air, the ride became a major milestone in roller coaster history as Bolliger & Mabillard’s (B&M) first ever flying coaster. Riders experienced the unique sensation of flying face-down through the track in one of Alton Towers’ most iconic attractions. ✈️

After 13 years as Air, the ride was transformed and reopened on 24 March 2016 as Galactica — bringing a new space-themed experience and virtual reality technology to this legendary flying coaster. 🚀

I can’t wait to ride Galactica this Monday and experience this iconic Alton Towers attraction again! 🌌🎢
