Easy Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Prep time: 15 mins | Bake time: 30–35 mins | Servings: 6–8

Ingredients
• 1 lb elbow macaroni
• 3 tbsp salted butter (Land O'Lakes), melted
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp paprika (plus extra for sprinkling on top)
• 2 large eggs
• 2½ cups regular milk
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 6 cups shredded cheese (your choice, e.g., cheddar, Monterey Jack)
• 3–4 tbsp salted butter (Land O'Lakes), cut into small pats
Instructions
1 Prep & Cook Pasta
◦ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
◦ Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente(slightly firm). Drain but save a little pasta water.
2 Season the Noodles in the Pan
◦ Transfer warm noodles directly into your baking dish. Put butter on noodles and allow to melt 3 tbsp melted butter, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
Fold in the shredded cheese, reserving a small handful to scatter over the top if desire

3 Whisk the Liquid Base
◦ In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, regular milk, and flour until completely smooth.
4 Assemble
◦ Pour the milk-and-egg mixture evenly over the noodles in the baking dish. Add pasta water

Then add more cheese all over . Use block cheese and chop in chunks and place in pan in random spots in the dish.

Then added more cheese across the top.

5 Top & Bake
◦ Dust the top with a final sprinkle of paprika.
◦ Distribute the 3–4 tbsp of butter pats evenly across the surface.
◦ Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden, set, and bubbly.
◦ Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
