Dear friends! You may have noticed that it's been a little quiet over here, and for good reason. My wife and I welcomed our first child into the world in April, which has been the most incredible experience of my life. Both of them are happy and healthy. I've also been busy with more session work and teaching, experiences that I hope to relay back to you soon in form of more videos here on this channel. In addition to all this, I'm moving soon which will add a little bit of positive chaos to my life. I'm thankful for you all being subscribed and sticking with me; I've put a ton of work in to this channel and making thoughtful videos for you and I'll be back soon. Happy Summer!

Happy New Year! I had an amazing and restful holiday in Seattle. Tomorrow I’ll be flying back to Los Angeles to get back to gigs and teaching, which I’m so excited to dig back into. Thanks for all of your support on this channel so far, I’ll be bringing you more videos soon! Topics will include the soft skills of being a professional musician, common music theory learning pitfalls, and of course lots on jazz improvisation. See you all soon!

Hey folks! I wanted to welcome the new subscribers to this channel. I'm very much starting out with this whole YouTube thing, but so far it's been really rewarding to interact with you all and make some new connections. In the coming weeks I'm going to be covering harp harmonics, the advantage of learning short jazz solos, some philosophical ideas, and even some live streamed solo guitar sets. Thanks for being a part of this!
