The 13th VFW is a new Falcon BMS multiplayer group focused on organised, cooperative flying, continuous learning and effective teamwork.
Our aim is to fly missions seriously without turning the hobby into military role-play. We value preparation, communication, sound judgement and a willingness to improve, while keeping the social environment relaxed and enjoyable.
Training is competency-based rather than time-based. Newer BMS pilots are welcome, provided they are willing to learn and practise, while experienced pilots can have previous knowledge and demonstrated competencies recognised rather than being forced through an unnecessarily long training pipeline.
Our initial operational focus is the F-16CM Block 50, with organised training, Tactical Engagements and eventually dynamic campaign operations. As the Wing develops, its activities and capabilities can grow with its members.
Our SOPs will develop organically as the Wing grows. Rather than starting with a large rulebook, we intend to document procedures as real experience shows us what works, what needs standardisation, and what actually adds value.
Our main weekly flight event takes place on Sundays at 21:00 GMT+1.
We are an 18+, English-speaking international group and are now opening recruitment for our first members.

I just came across a series of videos from @Wildman31st who goes over a topic that is not frequently covered in more technical types of tutorials, how to be a flight lead.
Here is the first episode of this series, there's 4 episodes on there so far, they are all very well done and informative, go check them out and go give him some love, let's make his subscriber count have an "unrestricted climb", it's well deserved!

Instead of having a guest on for a recorded episode, we would like to hear from you, the audience!
What we have in mind is to do a Livestream, then have sort of a Discord "waiting room". Listeners who are interested in talking to us can go on there, we pull listeners individually into our channel and we do a short interview on each person, also asking for your opinion on whatever is the topic of discussion for that particular episode. Something like a "call-in show".
I'd appreciate it if you could vote to let me know if this is something we should pursue or if there's not sufficient interest in it and we should continue with our current format.
This was most challenging project I've undertook so far. However, despite very positive feedback from the people who watched the video, it stands at around 1500 views currently. At the time of me writing this post, my channel has over 3500 subscribers. This means that less than half of my subscribers watched the video. The amount of my subscribers who've actually watched the video, according to my analytics, is around 40% of the views on the video.
I’ve had several reports from subscribers on Discord mentioning that the video never appeared in their subscription feeds and they received no notification—they only found it because I mentioned it directly.
I reached out to YouTube support about this issue, because apparently not only is my video not being pushed but my subscribers aren't being made aware that the video is out.
The agent who talked to me told me that the video isn't being pushed because I hadn't posted a video in months. They ignored completely the issues with subscribers not being notified and not having the video showing in their subscription feed. I also brought up the fact that last year there was a period of time during which I was posting 2/3 videos per week and those didn't have tremendous amounts of views either. I felt like my concerns where very much downplayed and that was I was being gaslighted by this person @youtubecreators
If the answer is "No" to either, please let me know in the comments here, or reach out to me on Discord or X (links are in my video descriptions). Having more specific examples will help me demonstrate to YouTube that this is a technical delivery failure rather than just "the algorithm" doing its thing.
Don't get me wrong, I know that the video isn't some groundbreaking masterpiece and I didn't expect it to have a million views at this point. But less views than the number of subscribers isn't something I was expecting.

- Animated Deck Crew: Fully functional "Yellow Shirts" with gesture-based catapult logic.
- Ready Room Integration: Brief your mission inside the carrier before manning up.
- LSO Station: High-fidelity "PLAT" camera and manual wave-off capabilities.
- Advanced Physics: Burble effects and deck pitch/roll that make a 3-wire a true challenge.
DCS had a good run, but seeing this in the BMS Dynamic Campaign changes the game forever. Tutorial Part 1 drops tomorrow!
