You might notice things are looking a little different around here! 🌿
We’ve given Finding My Place a fresh new look to mark the start of our biggest adventure yet — our search for a derelict Irish farmhouse that we can restore and turn into our dream off-grid home. 🇮🇪

And it all starts this Wednesday at 3pm.

Our first video of this new chapter will be live as we begin searching for the one… and trust us, you won’t want to miss it! 👀🏚️

Finding My Place

🎥 New video is LIVE!

Could this really be one of Ireland’s hidden mysteries? 👀☘️

Before finishing another project in our orchard, we head off to explore a remote sea arch on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way that’s rumoured to be a gateway to another world…

Whether you believe in fairies, time portals or ancient legends, it’s one of the most fascinating places we’ve visited—and we’d love to know what you think!

👉 Watch the video and let us know in the comments: Do you think Ireland’s ancient legends are based on truth, or are they simply great stories that have been passed down through generations?

💚 We’re also incredibly close to a huge milestone… we’re now just 20 subscribers away from 1,000! If you enjoy following our journey but haven’t subscribed yet, we’d be so grateful if you’d join us. Every subscription really helps us continue sharing our adventures.

Thank you all for being part of this journey—we honestly couldn’t do it without you. ☘️❤️

Finding My Place

A huge welcome to everyone who’s recently joined our little community! 👋❤️

Just six months ago, we started this channel to share our journey of moving from England to Ireland and building a slower, more self-sufficient life.

When we began, we set ourselves a goal of reaching 1,000 subscribers in 6 months.
We haven’t quite got there yet, but along the way we’ve met and chatted with so many lovely people.

Your comments, advice, encouragement and support mean the world to us, and they’re the reason we’ll be keeping the videos coming.

If you’re enjoying following our journey, we’d really appreciate it if you could like, comment and hit the Hype button on our videos. Every interaction tells YouTube that people are enjoying our content, which helps more people discover our channel and means you’ll be more likely to keep seeing our videos too.

Thanks for being here and for being part of our journey. We’re so glad you found us. ❤️

Finding My Place

Welcome to all of our new subscribers- We are so glad you have joined us on our journey ☘️

Quick favour to ask ❤️

Our videos are now eligible for YouTube Hypes 🎉
We’re still figuring out exactly what it does 😅 but apparently it helps push videos out to more people and supports creators, its free to do.

If you’re enjoying the channel and want to support us, you can now “Hype” our latest video
https://youtu.be/zAn-lfiSiTc?si=BHKzA... 🙌

You’ll find the Hype option near the like button (sometimes under the three dots depending on your device).
You get 3 free Hypes each week — so if you’d like to use one (or all of them 😜) on us, we’d really appreciate it ❤️
Thanks for supporting this little journey of ours 🇮🇪☘️

Finding My Place

👋 A big welcome to everyone who has joined the channel recently!

Today’s video goes live at 3pm and it’s a fun one:
5 things I didn’t expect to love about Ireland… but now genuinely do.

But I’m curious…

What do you think might be on the list?

The video goes live at 3pm, so come back later and see if you guessed any of them right ☘️

Finding My Place

☘️ New video is live! ☘️

We’ve shared something a little different this time — Martin is showing how to make a classic Irish sandwich… the iconic Tayto cheese & onion crisp sandwich 🇮🇪😄

It’s a bit of fun, very Irish, and we’re also trying out a new video format on the channel, so we’d genuinely love to know what you think.

👉 Have you ever tried a Tayto sandwich?

Thanks so much for supporting our journey ☘️
