I'm Maureen. At 55, I finally sat down and looked at where
my money was actually going — and I didn't like the answer.
Not because I was reckless, but because I'd been paying for
convenience my whole adult life without ever noticing the bill.
So I went back to the way my mother ran a household. Cook
from scratch. Fix it before you replace it. Never pay full
price for anything you can wait on. Nothing complicated.
Nothing you haven't heard before. But it worked, and it's
still working.
This channel is where I share what I've learned — the
practical, unglamorous habits that quietly add up. Things I
stopped buying. Ways to stretch a grocery budget. The small
household swaps that saved me more than any budgeting app ever did.
