This time, a closer look inside Khor Virap — beyond the famous views and into the details of the monastery itself.

The old stone walls, Armenian crosses and carvings, quiet corners of the churches, and the underground chamber connected to the story of Gregory the Illuminator all give this place a completely different feeling once you step inside.

And yes… that ladder in the photos goes down into one of Khor Virap’s underground chambers. 👀

DEVIL’S BRIDGE — PART II | INSIDE

This is what lies beneath Devil’s Bridge.
We went down into the cave-like grottoes beneath the natural bridge,
surrounded by flowing mineral water, unusual rock formations and naturally formed pools.

For our visit, we paid 5,000 AMD for a local guide to take us down and guide us through the cave area.

I couldn’t confirm a separate official name for this particular cave, so I’m referring to it simply as:
Caves Beneath Devil’s Bridge

A completely different world was hiding beneath the landscape we had just seen from above. 🇦🇲

Devil’s Bridge, Armenia 🇦🇲
Part 1

One of the most unexpected stops of our entire Armenia trip.

We were actually on our way to Tatev when our driver suggested stopping at Devil’s Bridge — and what was supposed to be a quick visit turned into a completely unplanned adventure. 😅

Natural pools, unusual rock formations, turquoise water, and a hidden cave that we definitely weren’t prepared for.

We eventually followed local guides down toward the cave, using ropes and a ladder in some sections… and by the end of it, we were completely soaked. 😂
