One thing I’ve realized through homeschooling is that homeschooling doesn’t completely eliminate peer pressure.
Our kids still interact with other children at church, co-op, extracurricular activities, camps, and other places. Sometimes, they may find themselves in situations where they have to decide whether to follow the crowd or stand firm in what they believe.
As parents, we can’t always be there to tell them what to do in those moments. So how do we prepare them?

How is your homeschool week going?
We’re already in Week 4 of our homeschool year, and so far, it has been good—and definitely interesting! 😅
One area I’ve been focusing on much more this year is writing. I’ve been intentionally incorporating different resources and activities to help my children not only improve their writing skills but also become more confident writers. I’m learning that sometimes our kids don’t need us to simply give them more writing assignments—they need different ways to practice and build confidence.

Let’s be honest—math can intimidate a lot of kids. My children were no different, especially when it came to division. But something interesting started happening when we began using Bible verses to practice math.
They became much more comfortable working through math problems—and it turned something that once felt intimidating into something they could actually enjoy.
In today’s video, I’ll show you exactly how we do it and how you can use Scripture as a practical tool to help your children practice math.

One thing my husband and I have been very intentional about as parents is teaching our children to read the Bible—not just as part of homeschool, but as a daily part of their lives. ❤️📖
We started when they were very young, and over the years we developed a simple system that helped them grow from reading a Beginner’s Bible to confidently reading the Bible for themselves.
And honestly…we’ve learned some things from our kids along the way! 😅
In today’s video, I’m sharing exactly what we did to raise Bible readers—how we introduced the Bible at a young age, encouraged daily reading, involved them in family devotions, taught them to read Scripture in context, and encouraged them to apply God’s Word to their lives.

🎶❤️ A Little Update About Our Song Cover! ❤️🎶
Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a quick update with you about the song cover my kids made this summer.
I originally planned to share it here on The Nobles Homeschool as a special birthday celebration for one of my girls. 🎂🎉 However, after uploading it, YouTube flagged the cover because of copyrighted material.
Rather than have the song create any unnecessary issues for this channel, I decided to share it on my other channel, Chioma Noble, where I share more of our Christ-centered content, music, faith, and family life. ❤️✝️
Honestly, I think it’s a better fit there anyway! 😊

NEW VIDEO TONIGHT AT 6 PM!
This was our first week of homeschool, and I decided to try something a little different for our writing lessons—I used the Bible as a tool to teach writing!
In tonight’s video, I’m sharing exactly how I used a passage from 1 Kings 1:1–25 to get my kids interested and engaged in their writing exercises—and keep them working until they were finished.
I’ll also show you the supplementary writing materials I used alongside the Bible and how I combined them to create a hands-on writing lesson for my children.
