Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was never obscene or immoral. The Prophet would say, “Verily, among the best of you are those with the best character.”

حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضى الله عنه سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں: میں نےرسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وسلم سے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول! اللہ تعالی کے نزدیک سب سے زياده پسندیدہ عمل کون سا ہے؟ اور ایک روایت میں یہ ہے کہ: کون سا عمل اورکام سب سے بہتر ہے؟ آپ نے جواب دیا: نماز اس کے صحيح وقت پر، میں نےپوچھا پھر کون سا عمل؟ آپ نے فرمایا: والدین کے ساتھ حسنِ سلوک کرنا، پھر میں نے پوچھا: اس کے بعد کون سا عمل؟ آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنا
There is a hadith on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: I asked the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace: O Messenger of Allah! What is the most beloved deed to Allah Almighty? And in one tradition it is: Which action and deed is the best? You replied: Prayer at its right time, I asked then which action? You said: Be kind to parents, then I asked: What action after that? He said: Jihad in the way of Allah
