Emily See, a former kindergarten teacher turned…whatever all this is. As a resident of Norfolk County, I got hooked on Karen Read’s trials and the systemic problems exposed throughout.

Today Rob Thomson was found NOT GUILTY of 19 counts of violating a harassment prevention order, 2 counts of criminal harassment and 1 count of witness intimidation.
He was found guilty of one count of violating a harassment prevention order (docket #2654CR599, 4/4/26: the Blooomingdales post attached). Rob will pay a $50 fee and be on probation for two years.
Tim Bradl and Courtney Healy were relentless, not just in their fight for Rob but in their protection of the first amendment for all of us. I’m grateful I had the opportunity to witness it (especially in a courtroom intent on limiting the public’s access) so I want to be clear that what I’m about to say next in no way diminishes their work...
I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that Rob was forced to go through this at all. That for five years leading up to the 2022 trial, the NCDAO told Rob he couldn’t speak publicly about his story. That the MSP and NCDAO were unable or unwilling to present the case that Eddie, Rob and the entire Thomson family deserved. That it was not even a year after that trial that the family who had already taken so much from him went after Rob for hanging paper flyers. That when they were unsuccessful, local law enforcement helped to silence him once again.
Today was ultimately a win, but God save us from the Commonwealth.

The jury got the case at 3:30 and they were sent home at 4:30 without reaching a verdict yet. (They do have 19 PAPERS to fill out so I wouldn’t read anything into this) They will be back at 9:00 am to continue deliberations.
While waiting, Rob Thomson came to the aid of a woman whose car broke down in the middle of the road, a situation we became aware of when @GrantSmithEllis announced: “She’s old and she’s stuck! Let’s help her!”
The juxtaposition of this kind man – a victim in every sense of the word, who has been railroaded and silenced by the NCDAO – awaiting the verdict in his criminal trial, while across the street Protected Proctor gets all the mainstream media attention really sums up Norfolk County.
