The Tata Sierra Dark has been launched at a starting price of ₹13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). What's interesting, is that the previously introduced Legend Series variants (from Pure L to Adventure+ L), as well as Accomplished and Accomplished+, get the Dark edition.

Changes include a Friesian Black colourway, #DARK badging on the front fenders, and as motifs on headrests. The cabin gets a black interior theme with Purple Chrome detailing. Engine options include 1.5-litre Revotron and Hyperion petrol, and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel. Prices range between ₹13.99 lakh-₹21.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

Is this the Tigor facelift? Yes, and not quite. The upcoming sub-4-metre sedan will be called Aeris, and it will replace the Tigor. Set to launch on 25 September, here's how we have rendered it from its recent teaser.

There's a new colourway, which is a shade of lavender. We expect it to get the same features as its hatchback sibling, the Tiago. These features could be a 10.25-inch centre screen, LED lighting, fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, 360°camera, auto-folding ORVMs, and a rotary drive selector (automatic versions).

The Aeris could essentially be the Tigor under the hood. This means a 1.2-litre petrol (84bhp/113Nm) and CNG (72bhp/96.5Nm) options. A 74bhp/170Nm EV could also follow.

The Kia Carens and Carens Clavis CNG have been launched at ₹12.11 lakh and ₹12.39 lakh (ex-showroom). These CNG kits are factory fitments, which means suspension and engine tuning for CNG, have been changed from the production line itself.

• Carens: Premium (O) at ₹12.11 lakh
• Carens Clavis: HTE at ₹12.39 lakh, HTE (O) at ₹13.35 lakh
• CNG tank: 60L, single-cylinder

With this kit, comes a 4.2-inch coloured MID with DTE (Distance to Empty), and a dedicated CNG switch. A 1.5-litre NA petrol engine powers the MPV, and the output in CNG mode stands at 95bhp/123Nm.

From what we have seen with previous spy shots, the Thar facelift has a changed 5-slat grille, projector lights borrowed from the Roxx, and a new alloy design. The cabin could likely get a larger infotainment, analog+digital instrument cluster, and 360° camera.

We don't anticipate any change under the hood. This means the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol (150bhp/300Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (117bhp/320Nm), paired with 6MT/6AT (torque converter) gearboxes.

Speak of lifetime warranty on an NMC battery, Kia has been the first to offer the same with the Syros EV. Shortly after, the Carens Clavis EV has also followed.

All Carens Clavis EVs sold on or after 1 August, 2026, get a lifetime (15 years) warranty on the HV (High Voltage) battery. Meanwhile, existing owners can also have the original 8-year/1,60,000km warranty upgraded to 15 years/unlimited kilometres.
