I'm gonna sit down and actually record a video on how i've been doing lately. It'll probably just be a lot of me just repeating what i've said already, but I've not been in a good place mentally as of late, so I feel like I need to get it off my chest. There's only so much that text can get across, so talking in person will probably be better.

I need to talk here.

I'm at a point in my channel where I don't know what to do anymore. The motiviation to do anything isn't there, I have things i want to do but don't have the energy to do it, and on top of a lot of stuff from my actual life, I don't know if I want to keep doing this.

I've promised so much stuff and I haven't delivered on enough. I have health problems going on with my family so that's been weighing heavy on my thoughts, school started back up, and I'm working for a majority of the week. There's so much going on in my life that Youtube basically just feels like another job. And with what I do, I know there's other ways I can do it which are easier, but I'm trying to do this in a way that I feel is ethically correct.

I've told my parents about how i'm doing on youtube, and after telling them that I want to pay creators back for their own content, they said "Why would you do that? Just take the money and use that to pay for stuff for yourself.". I don't like that idea. I just got paid by youtube and because of the obligations that I said I was going to do, I have to commit to it. And even then, I still haven't done what I said I was going to do.

I haven't donated to charities yet because I realized that you can exempt stuff from your taxes if you do so, so I haven't done that in fear that if I mess something up that's hundreds of dollars that I have to account for. I want to keep doing what i'm doing, but the fear of what might happen if I commit to something and not keep my words is heavy. I have like 250 dollars that I've set aside to donate to The Trevor Project, but because I've never donated before, I don't know the processes of what needs to be kept, what kind of logs do I need to account for, etc. And I could just donate it and call it a day, but because they offer this kind of stuff, I feel like i should use it.

Another thing, after talking with my friends for extended periods of time, they've unoffically diagnosed me with Depression and this other thing called "Executive Dysfunction". My mental state is in a terrible place right now, and I don't know if youtube is contributing to that, but it could be because I'm trying to do things the correct way that it's weighing so heavy on me. I could be like other youtubers like Fishdoe and just steal straight up and not give a cent to the creators, but then I feel like the douche for doing that because then i'm basically profiting off of others while they don't see anything except maybe a couple of extra views off a viral video. I really want to keep going, but I just don't know if I can.

If you're reading this far, thank you for hearing me out, and I'll keep trying to appease you guys and whatever our robot overlords think is fine. Might take a break from uploading but that would hurt me in the long run. Thank you, and have a great day.

I had a vid go viral on TikTok about a Publix that opened up around the corner from when I go to school, and it got like 400k views and DDOI reached out to me and asked if he could use it in a video. Really happy to see it here as I love these videos. Big fan of the way he reaches out to creators and companies to ask to use their stuff, as he's done this for years and made it sustainable in a way that is ethically correct.
Love him so much for that, and if he's reading this, thank you so much for this. Feels really good 💚

YouTube has content detection systems, so a good amount of the time the stuff that I repost gets put into here. This has allowed me to get a decent amount of names registered into a list of reposters. Don't really know what i'm gonna do with it, but having this list might be helpful to find people to avoid/block.

Wow. 50k subs. Didnt even realize it happened until I logged on this afternoon. It is absolutely insane how my channel has grown this much in such a short amount of time. Was it done in a way that I would've wanted it to? No, not in the slightest. It's still insane that its gotten to point.

I've said it several times, but I dont enjoy what I do. The shorts are cool, getting to see numbers go up is always fun, but when it's done in a way like I've been doing, those numbers feel wrong. Like people aren't coming for you, theyre coming for your posts. It makes that 50k number feel way less genuine.

I really want to sit down and make a full length video just talking about YouTube and life in general, but that'll have to wait for another day.

I love the fact that looking at the sub count of the creator of the most recent short has gone up by OVER 200 SUBS OVERNIGHT. Keep doing what y'all are doing and keep supporting these creators! It's probably better to go follow them on their original platforms (like tiktok), but it's cool to see them getting support over here as well.
