Okay gamers, enough time has passed. The Spotify Music Stream is happening again. Twitch only, 4/29 at 5PM CST (that's tomorrow!) It's gonna be the same schtick, but you'll be "competing" for an even bigger prize this time: Spot #1000 in my Favorite Playlist Ever. (I'll also be streaming in my Discord server's voice chat cuz Twitch hates EU or w/e)
Last time, I gave everyone the sense that my music tastes were limited to calm and upbeat songs. While I absolutely do, my tastes are way wider than that.
Rock, Metal, Funk, Country, EDM, Indie, Video Games, Orchestral, Citypop, Anime Openings, White Girl Music, Ballads, Touhou, Phonk, LoFi, House, Bossa Nova, Eurobeat, Late 2000s Pop...I can keep going.
Point is, nothing's off the table. If it's a banger, send it.
So, while no requests are in queue, we'll be listening to my favorite playlist of all time: Match My Freak. A playlist with one rule only: "If I like it enough, I add it." That playlist is sitting at EXACTLY 999 songs. I legit learned that yesterday, so what better song to mark as #1000 than tomorrow's big winner. The bragging rights will be immaculate, I swear ;)
And for those who had troubles with Twitch connection last time, I'll be in General Voice Chat on my Discord channel capturing my screen. Try to send song recommendations through Twitch, but if you're having THAT much trouble, I'll also be keeping my eye on the music channel in my Discord during the stream (I'm overstimulating myself for you guys because I am just that good a streamer!)
With all that being said, get those Spotify bangers lined up, thanks for reading this mini essay I typed up, and I'll see y'all on Twitch tomorrow. Auf wiedersehen, my friends. (iykyk)
I've got a bit of a different plan than usual today. For the babies who don't like reading, here's your TL;DR: I'm going live ||ON TWITCH ONLY|| around 6 PM CST and I'll be taking music requests from chat.
Alright let's break this down.
As of writing this post, I have saved 3999 songs to my Spotify account. For a milestone like this, I think it's time to do that music stream I've been talking about for a while. I'm gonna be reorganizing some of my playlists, listening to some not-so-free-use music while I do it (hence why this is Twitch only). While I do this, I will be taking song recommendations from chat, my favorite of which will have the honor of SONG FOUR THOUSAND. Your song can be anything and does not have to be copyright-free, but bonus points if the song you send in can be used in my normal streams. Y'all got a couple hours, find some bangers for me!
Is that a massive freeze sweeping America, forcing people to stay indoors? That sounds like prime streaming real estate to me! I'll be going live 5PM CST, and I've got a big announcement too so come "chill" if you can!
