If Iran wanted to cause trouble with their mortal enemy now would be a perfect time.

Fed meeting end of month. Mid terms not far behind.

If something happened to spike oil prices there could be some action.

7 in 10 have already given up.

That's the number now. More than 70% of young Australians believe they'll never own a home.

Not "it'll be hard." Never.

And it's not just talk anymore, it's showing up everywhere:

📌Young Australians resorting to desperate measures just to secure a rental, let alone buy
📌An entire generation now flagged as being at risk of ending up worse off than their parents
📌Renters stretched thinner every year while the goalposts for buying keep moving further out

You do everything "right." You work, you save, you cut back on the things you actually want.

And somehow the finish line is still further away than it was last year.

This tracks with exactly what I broke down in the new video: push the current trend forward 20 years, and owning a home outright drops under 1 in 5 people.

Not a crash. Just a slow, steady slide.

If most of a generation has already stopped believing they'll ever own a home, what does that actually do to how they plan the rest of their life?

And has that belief already changed a decision you've made about your own future?

If nothing changes in Australia over the next 20 years, what do you think happens first?

Vote below, then watch my latest video “Australia in 2045” to see what the current trend lines are pointing toward.

If nothing changes in Australia over the next 20 years, this is where we could be headed:

60% of take-home pay going straight to the mortgage.

A $3.26 million median house price — before groceries, electricity, or raising a family.

Home ownership without a mortgage has already fallen from 38.6% to 29.5% over the past 20 years. If that trend continues, it could fall below 20%.

And it probably won’t happen with one dramatic crash.

It’s a slow slide. A little more expensive every year. A little harder to get ahead.

Until:

📌Renting becomes permanent for more Australians
📌Fewer than 1 in 5 own their home outright
📌The rising cost of living keeps compounding the pressure

I'm not saying this is guaranteed. It's what the trend line says if nothing changes.

Do you think this is where we're headed, or does something change the trajectory first?

Watch my recent video and I’m keen to hear your thoughts!

Simple question.

"Why can’t we just build more houses?"

No simple answer.

Australia has an enormous amount of land. We’re one of the wealthiest countries in the world. And yet, you can work full-time, earn good money, save every week for years — and still get outbid on a home in the suburb you grew up in.

And the longer you wait, the harder it gets.

The deposit you need gets bigger.
House prices keep moving.
And the goalposts don’t just move — they run.

So if we have the land, the demand, the money and the people who desperately need homes…

Why can’t we build enough of them?

Is Australia’s housing crisis actually fixable?

Or are we just going to keep watching the next generation fall further behind?

What do you think?

Private money + rising interest rates + reducing valuations = more of this to come

The 1.2m homes by 2030 thing is good talk but the reality is something else.

Australia earns a company like Optus the right to operate here. Millions of customers. A protected market.

In return? $8.2 billion in revenue in one year — and $0 income tax paid. (That's straight from the ATO's own data.)

That's not a glitch. That's the system working exactly as designed.

I break down how in the new video — Part 1 of 4 on how Australia really works.

Drop a comment below if you think the system's serving working Australians.
Curious where you all land.

You vote every few years. But what if the people who actually shape your life — your rent, your wages, your cost of living — were never on any ballot?

New video is live. 👇

Part 1 of a 4-part series: how Australia really works — and the "fourth layer of government" no one elected. It's not socialism. It's arguably worse.

One question I want to leave you with before you watch: local, state, federal… who's the fourth layer?

Parts 2–4 coming soon. Make sure you're subscribed.

When do you reckon the RBA will get inflation back to target?🤔

The RBA just said 2028. And they've hinted rates could go UP another 0.35% this year.

I did this video on December 2024. Read AI review of what was mentioned below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa1kA...

"Stagflation (the overlooked risk): The presenter believes the biggest longer-term threat may be a period of weak economic growth combined with persistent inflation. Governments may continue spending while central banks struggle to contain inflation, keeping interest rates elevated and making debt harder to service."

Still pretty much bang on. The only thing bringing down is an economic collapse.
