This is a reminder that Sukkot aka The Feast of Tabernacles begins this week! Sukkot starts on Wednesday, October 7th which is the 15th day of the 7th month on the Solar Calendar of the Nazarene Qumran Way! Remember the 1st day and the 8th day are High-Shabbats meaning no work is to be done on them!

Leviticus 23:39-40
“On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the festival of YAHWEH for seven days, with a SHABBAT REST ON THE FIRST DAY (October 7th) AND A SHABBAT REST ON THE EIGHTH DAY (October 14th). And on the first day you shall take for yourselves a beautiful fruit tree, palm branches, and branches of a leafy tree, and willows of the brook, and you shall REJOICE before YAHWEH your ELOHIM for seven days.”

Leviticus 23:42-43
“You shall DWELL IN BOOTHS for seven days. Every citizen in Yisra’el shall dwell in booths, that your generations may know that I HAD THE SONS OF YISRA’EL DWELL IN BOOTHS when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

This is a reminder that Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) will be this coming Friday on October 2nd aka the 10th day of the 7th month on the Zadok Priestly Solar Calendar of the Nazarenes! It is a Shabbat which means no work is to be done at all and we are to fast on it!

Leviticus 23:26-32 (Complete Jewish Bible)
"YAHWEH said to Moshe,“The TENTH DAY of this SEVENTH MONTH is YOM-KIPPUR; you are to have a set-apart convocation, you are to DENY YOURSELVES, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to YAHWEH.YOU ARE NOT TO DO ANY KIND OF WORK ON THAT DAY, because it is YOM-KIPPUR, to make atonement for you before YAHWEH your ELOHIM. Anyone who DOES NOT DENY HIMSELF ON that day is to be cut off from his people; AND ANYONE WHO DOES ANY KIND OF WORK ON THAT DAY, I will destroy from among his people. YOU ARE NOT TO DO ANY KIND OF WORK; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live. Leviticus 23:29 (Jerusalem Bible)
“On the TENTH DAY of the SEVENTH MONTH you MUST FAST AND REFRAIN FROM WORK, the native and the stranger who lives among you.” For this is the day on which the rite of atonement shall be performed over you, to purify you. Before YAHWEH you will be clean of all your sins. It shall be a SHABBAT REST for you AND YOU ARE TO FAST. This is a perpetual law.”

YAHWEH willing, this coming Wednesday (September 23rd) will be the 1st day of the 7th month, which means it will be Yom Teruah (The Day of Shouting) which is a High-Shabbat, a day of doing NO WORK, and the start of Fall season!

Leviticus 23:23-24
"Speak to the children of Yisra’el, saying, 'In the SEVENTH MONTH, on the FIRST DAY of the month, you have a REST, a REMEMBRANCE OF BLOWING THE TRUMPETS (SHOFAR), a set-apart gathering.' You DO NO SERVILE WORK, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to YAHWEH.”

And it will officially be FALL, a day of remembrance and a FEAST DAY according to the Solar Calendar of the Nazarene Qumran Way!

Jubilees 6:23-29
"On the first of the first month (spring), the first of the fourth month (summer), THE FIRST OF THE SEVENTH MONTH (FALL), and the first of the tenth month (winter) are MEMORIAL DAYS AND DAYS OF THE SEASONS. They are written down and ordained at the FOUR DIVISIONS OF THE YEAR AS AN ETERNAL TESTIMONY.  Noah ordained them as FESTIVALS for himself throughout the history of eternity with the result that through them he had a reminder. On the first of the first month he was told to make the ark, and on it the earth became dry, he opened it and saw the earth. On the first of the fourth month the openings of the depths of the abyss below were closed. On the FIRST OF THE SEVENTH MONTH all the openings of the earth's depths were opened and the water began to go down into them. On the first of the tenth month the summits of the mountains became visible, and Noah was very happy. For this reason he ordained them for himself forever as MEMORIAL FESTIVALS. SO THEY ARE ORDAINED, AND THEY ENTER THEM ON THE HEAVENLY TABLETS..."

It is now the 23rd day of the 6th month which is the start of the Festival of the Wood-Offering that continues for the next six days! Nehemiah was very familiar with this festival because he said it was written in the Torah and we only find this law written in the Temple Scroll!

"The Temple Scroll (The Dead Sea Scrolls) translated by Charlesworth page 307 or Wise, Abegg, and Cook (A New Translation The Dead Sea Scrolls) page 603
Column 23:2-3

“And AFTER the appointed time of the fresh oil (New oil), they shall present at the altar THE WOOD, the twelve clans of the sons of Yisra’el. And they shall be presenting (it) on the first day, the clans of Levi and Judah; and on the second day, Benjamin and the sons of Joseph together, Ephraim and Manasseh; and on the third day, Reuben and Simeon; and on the fourth day, Issachar and Zebulon, and on the fifth day, Gad and Asher; and on the sixth day, Dan and Naphtali…and they shall present upon the wood a burnt-offering for YAHWEH…”

So, we have a perfect match of what Nehemiah said was written in the Torah, which confirms the Temple Scroll as scripture:
Nehemiah 10:35

“And we cast lots for the office of WOOD OFFERING, we the priests and the Levites and the people, TO BRING WOOD into the house of ELOHIM, according the HOUSE OF OUR FAMILIES AT CERTAIN SET TIMES, YEAR BY YEAR, to burn on the altar of YAHWEH our ELOHIM as it is WRITTEN IN THE LAW…”
