We’re a couple from Mexborough, in our fifties who’ve done the parenting, waved the kids off, and decided… it’s our turn now.
So we sold the big house, downsized to a cosy two-up two-down in a mining village, and swapped routine for freedom.
Now it’s all about:
🚐 Touring the UK (and maybe beyond) in our 20-year-old campervan
🐕 Walking the dog in some of the best spots around
🍻 A few drinks… sometimes a few too many
🥧 An insane love of pies, but proper ones not a stew with a lid on!
😂 Plenty of laughs along the way
No scripts.
No pretending.
Just real life, real laughs, and honest adventures—the good, the bad, and the slightly hungover.
If you fancy following along with a couple figuring it out as we go (with a dog in tow), hit subscribe and join us.
Because life doesn’t stop at 50… if anything, it just gets better.

We check out Wrexham to see what the town is like beyond the Hollywood owned football club.
It was an interesting visit but we had to cut this one short …

In this vlog, we walk down the palm-lined harbour promenade, check out the local shops and Greek fashion boutiques, and sit down at a traditional seaside taverna to enjoy iced Greek frappes and a classic Greek salad by the water.
