The more documentaries I make, the longer they get... my latest upload in 28 minutes, and my next one, about the bizarre history of the polygraph, is clocking in at 29 minutes. Is that too long? What is the perfect length for one of these documentary-style videos?

When the Space Shuttle Challenger launched in January 1986, one of its objectives was to observe the passage of Halley's comet. My latest video looks at the incredible story behind the discovery of the comet, and the tragic story of the Challenger disaster. This month, 37 years ago the Rogers Commission published it's damning report, it found the root cause of the accident as “a serious flaw in the decision-making process leading up to the launch.”

Later today I'm uploading a video about the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. The picture below features Howard Carter (right) and his benefactor, Lord Carnarvon who financed the dig. The burial chamber was opened in February 1923, less that 2 months later, Lord Carnarvon would be dead - igniting rumors of a curse.

This memo was sent to the head of the CIA in relation to a covert program called MKUltra. When, in 1973, an investigative journalist published a story revealing the program's existence, the CIA tried to 'scrub' the evidence. Their attempts at damage control were only partially successful and the details that emerged were as shocking as they were unbelievable. An MKultra video will be going live within the hour!
