Hi, I’m Jane 💛
I have a passion for walking and hiking, a deep love of nature, wildlife and capturing beauty on camera. Two of those got me through one of the hardest times in my life, where I walked myself to better mental health. I’m sharing my walks and hikes, exploring the sheer beauty that we encounter, and there’s a bit of chatting too. My aim is to share uplifting films with you, and have walks that find calm in a difficult world which we all seem to struggling with right now.
I aim to put out a video once a fortnight and there’ll be lots of nature and animal shorts in between. I hope you find something enjoyable here and I thank you sincerely for sharing the walks with me. Jane 🙂💛 XX
Note: On my channel there is no AI, no filters or colour grading. I edit, film and do everything myself so it’s completely natural.

The recent storm ruined my plans for a countryside walk. So I’ve done something a bit different. I’ve taken us inside, on a tour of Quarry Bank Mill. A historical spinning mill full of history, and a sad look at life for the mill workers and children who toiled there.
Next time we will be back outside in the beautiful countryside 🌿🌳🌱 but for now, I hope you find this interesting. 🙂

Hello 🙂🌿
I’ve not been able to take my long walks, as I’m recovering from an operation which has taken longer to recover than expected.
In the meantime, I’ve managed some shorts from day trips, but for a full walk it might be a few weeks before I can manage that.
Hope you enjoy the shorts. And hope you’re enjoying an Easter break or at least a nice weekend. ☺️🌿💚

This week’s short walk is a nostalgic step back in time to the beautiful, disused and historical train station of Hadlow on the Wirral. A little stroll around the station that’s a sheer joy to see. It’s out on my channel at 12:15pm 1st March. 🙂

Tomorrow, on Sunday afternoon at 3pm, take a walk with me to Hale head lighthouse where we see the lighthouse and the beautiful Mersey estuary along with the birds that visit. And in sharp contrast we take a look at the opposite of nature - beauty and the beast, where nature meets and lives amongst man made machines and ugly industrial plants. I’ve titled it, ‘Beauty meets the beast.’ See you tomorrow.
