I’m Monica. I ask a lot of “but why?” questions, and Katha is where I try to answer them.

Here, I break down history, geopolitics, people and events into simple, engaging stories, connecting the dots between what happened, why it happened, and why it matters today.

From forgotten moments in history to the events making headlines, I dig into the stories behind the world we live in and present them in a way that’s easy to understand and hopefully, a lot more fun than your history textbook.

The purpose is simple: to learn, understand and stay aware of the forces shaping our world.

Learn the story. Understand the world.
