I bet it was in the same sleeve since it was new because it was stuck to it. When you run into that, remove it slowly. You’ll likely have the film on the front of the card. Fortunately, it’s easy to clean up.
The finish on Flair cards is super shiny and it’s kind of soft, but you can still do decent scratch removal as well

When using a scratch remover on the acetate Tom Brady, you cannot touch the gold foil finish, or it will go away just like the scratches. 😄
It took three applications on the back of the Deion Sanders to lighten up those print lines, but it came out better than I expected.

The #1 reason cool Cards from the vintage era are called “altered” by grading companies... Screw case damage
Fortunately, it’s easy to fix. You just have to know how to do a semi soak.
Now I’m not sure what this guy’s dynamic is now with his friend, but I can tell you the Jordan is looking pretty damn good 😉
