As I journey through Africa, I’m constantly struck by how deeply connected we are through food, culture, and spirityet how separated we've become by borders, language, and the legacy of colonialism.
I started this channel to share lifestyle and pharmacy insights. But along the way, I discovered something bigger: a calling to explore the soul of Africa, its history, its people, its untold stories and share them with those who long to reconnect with their roots.
If you care about African stories, connection, and reclaiming our narrative, you’re in the right place.
Subscribe and follow me as I bring these stories to lifeone country, one conversation, one discovery at a time.

So your girl should have been in Greece over the weekend, but alas… 🥲🇬🇷
I was invited to present my work at IPVS 2026, but I couldn't make it to Athens to deliver my scheduled presentation. 😭
Still, I'm incredibly grateful that my abstract was selected for presentation at a major international conference focused on papillomavirus research. HPV prevention and cervical cancer are issues I'm genuinely passionate about, so this means a lot to me. 🥹❤️
Anyway, I still accept my “CONGRATULATIONS” because… WE DID IT, JOE! 😂🙌🏽🎉

Who’s ready for an epic group trip? From October 30th to November 1st, we are heading to the Benin Republic for an unforgettable weekend immersion into West African culture, heritage, and history!
Here is a sneak peek at what’s on our itinerary:
🛶 The Floating Village of Ganvié: We’ll take a boat ride across Lake Nokoué to explore this incredible village built entirely on stilts, often called the "Venice of Africa."
🏛️ The History of Ouidah: We'll walk the historic slave route to the poignant Door of No Return, visit the sacred python temple, and dive deep into the roots of Voodoo history and resilience.
Drop a comment below if you're coming with us! Let's make this a trip to remember. 👇

Mombasa with the familia 🇰🇪🥰❤️
I know… “video coming soon” has been doing overtime on this community page 😂 I’ve been away for about 3 months, and honestly, I’ve spent a lot of that time thinking about how I want my videos to feel. I love creating videos that make me smile while I’m editing them, but lately I’ve been overthinking everything, the editing, the storytelling, whether I’m doing enough, whether I can make the videos better. And somewhere along the way, trying to make things *better* started making it harder to simply START.
The funny thing is, I’ve realised that I won’t get better by waiting for the perfect video. I have to make the videos, try things, learn, and keep going.
So… I’m starting again. 😅
It may not suddenly look completely different. I’m still figuring out my style, my storytelling and the kind of creator I want to become. But I’d rather let you come along for that process than disappear until I think I’ve figured it all out.
Thank you for still being here, for asking where I’ve been, and for continuing to support this little corner of the internet. I genuinely appreciate you more than you know.
And yes… I’m actually posting. 😂
You can also find me on Instagram (check comments below for link to connect) if you want to keep up with me there. See you in the next video. ❤️
