Most of you know by now but if you don’t, Will Beasley and The Bakery Recording Studios have played a massive part in my music over the last two years. I’m so grateful for all the songs we’ve made here in this space. It’s where I built my foundation.
I want to take a minute to acknowledge and thank all of you out there for your part in my journey. All the numbers that we’ve become so fixated on.. you are those numbers. You make up those numbers. At least in my world you do. I am not bought and paid for. I do not pay for anything other than my studio, my studio time with Will, and the merchandise that I sell.
An old friend once told me, ‘You have to earn it’. He was referring to the music world and becoming a respected artist. So that’s what I set out to do. I set out to earn my place. And I am grateful for each and every single one of you out there whose ears i’ve earned.
