The Kwik Charge expansion news video this week really knocked the timing of the series for a loop, but the last one is on the way. It'll release on Monday 9/21.

Since I can't post a picture in the comments of other videos. This is for a particularly annoyed viewer who wants to argue about Supercharger pricing. Here's the Wausau, WI charging pricing at the lone Supercharger in the area. This is straight from Tesla.com.

Looks like Tesla has changed the way they display Supercharger pricing in Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area, at least.
The displayed price from my last charge at the new Supercharger in Wisc Dells INCLUDED THE TAX. So it was $0.50 all-in. See Lake Delton receipt for last year’s approach. I’m going to test Lake Delton again tomorrow and report back, but anyone else noticing the tax being included in the displayed price? The other pics are their current pricing on the app for we non-members.
Price before tax is one of the things I have dinged them for (and had to explain why the Kwik Charge pricing wasn’t as bad). Now Supercharger is more than Kwik Charge in Lake Delton with or without the tax…🤷
Looking back at some older charge receipts where Tesla didn’t have the taxes dialed in correctly, so maybe that explains it. They finally fit their systems to charge the correct $.03/kWh excise tax in Wisconsin?
Anyone else seeing a different result on their Supercharger receipts in Wisconsin?

Out with the Old in with the New.
The Tesla Supercharger in Mauston at the Culver's that is Tesla only is now listed as Under Construction for its NEVI upgrade. See the Albert Lea NEVI rip and replace site in the other pictures for what we will likely be looking at when this site is complete. Upgrades - CCS cars able to charge, Magic Dock, Credit card reader (no app needed), V4 charging stalls, at least v3.5 power (up to 325kW) - ALL huge upgrades
BUT the bigger story is this site is a WEVI Round 1.5 site. The first one to go under construction from that set of awards. We have 25 open NEVI sites that ranks 2nd in the nation from the first round of 52 awards. With the Round 1.5 awards kicking off construction that moves Wisconsin closer to getting the full the 78 awarded sites built out.

Should be a great event with Wisconsin Clean Cities, Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Association on hand and Tesla is scheduled to have ride and drives as well. Hope to see you there!
