My first Spencerian practice was rough but fun. My second try this morning with a TWSBI pen went great. Focusing on my arm movement and grip made my lines much smoother. I even see some ink sheen. Thanks to the person who reminded me of TWSBI pens, you inspired me to try one for practice.
