Hi guys! Just a quick note — all of my recent Shorts now include the recipe in the comments. Some older posts may still link back to the blog, but all of my recipes are always available there.

I know it’s helpful to see the recipe right on the Short, so I’ll keep doing that! The blog will still have the full recipe post with extra tips, substitutions, step-by-step details, and more.

Hello! I wanted to kick off the new year by reintroducing myself and updating you a bit. (Just pretend it’s not already January 9th.)

First, a little about me… I’m the official Bri of Bites with Bri (aka BWB). I live outside of Fort Worth, Texas with my husband and our two Cavapoo babies. Recipe blogging is actually my full-time job. And outside of cooking for my blog… I just cook more for fun. My husband is my full-time dishwasher and works for Amazon on the side. I also love the beach, anything crafty, attempting to garden, reading (more of a goal for the new year), playing mahjong, and most importantly scrolling TikTok.

I started my BWB Instagram account in the summer of 2020 and my blog later that fall. It has evolved into a business I never knew was possible and is literally the best “job” I could imagine.

From the start, my cooking style has always been: bold, savory flavors, comfort food, and dinners you actually want to cook for your family. I love to start with a classic recipe and mess with it a little, by adding one unexpected ingredient, one extra step, or something that makes it mine. Not always the simplest, but always worth it.
Lastly, I am taking a break from filming my usual recipe videos and trying something new! What you can expect moving forward:
--Recipes will live right here in the caption and/or the last slide. No more commenting for links or having to go over to the blog.
--Less video, more photo carousels.
--More fresh content posted in real time.
--More variety (think favorite cookware roundups, product recs, etc.)
--Less curation, more quick snapshots of what I’m eating and cooking on my phone.


As for the blog, nothing is changing over there! You’ll still find all of my recipes with tons more information like substitutions, variations, detailed process photos, tips, and more.
