YouTube is so stupid sometimes, Like I thought the whole point of that whole terrible updating the requirements to join the partner program was to target AI channels. And now your just promoting AI for shorts. Anything but not adding useless features I guess.
Man YouTube is just speed running to ruin their platform bro. First they change the partner program view requirements from 4,000 vid and 10M short Views to 8,000 vid and 20M short Views to be eligible for the partner program. And now they have also changed how views that are counted on all videos that aren't shorts. So now all video views will be also counted like shorts views meaning all video views on all videos are going to go up by a lot. Now you might think this is a good thing but it doesn't mean YouTube is going to pay you more for views you get and brands defiantly aren't going to. This is really amazing YouTube totally what everyone was asking for Useless video views!
