Chronicles & Legends

Chronicles & Legends is home to original Warhammer-inspired music, cinematic music videos, and heavy songs from The Second Light.

We create nu metal, alternative rock, hard rock, punk metal, gothic rock, and experimental tracks inspired by Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar. Some releases are dark, serious, and cinematic, built around battles, factions, corruption, faith, and tragedy. Others are made purely for fun, from loud Ork anthems and unhinged character songs to pop-punk and stranger ideas that are simply too entertaining not to make.

The Second Light are an international band writing and producing from Malta, combining crushing riffs, melodic vocals, horror textures, music box elements, and story-driven lyrics. Every track is designed to feel like a piece of the universe, whether brutal, emotional, funny, or completely ridiculous.

New songs, music videos, Shorts, and previews are released regularly.

๐Ÿ’” New song dropping at midnight

He Only Has Eyes for the Commissar is almost here.

A cheerful Warhammer 40K ukulele love song about one very loyal Guardswoman, one painfully oblivious Guardsman, and the terrifying Commissar he cannot stop staring at. ๐Ÿ˜‚

She saved his life, carried his lasgun, shared her ration pack, and stitched his coat.

The Commissar threatened to execute him once.

Apparently that was enough. ๐Ÿ’€โค๏ธ

Expect jealous Guardsmen, corpse-starch biscuits, questionable romantic decisions, and more emotional damage than the Imperial Guard usually allows.

๐Ÿ’˜ New song out now

He Was a Primarch, She Was an Eldar is live.

Yes, it is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.

A Warhammer 40K pop-punk comedy song about the internetโ€™s favourite completely-not-canon pairing, with enough awkward tension, suspicious chemistry, and Imperial concern to make the Codex Astartes very uncomfortable. ๐Ÿ’€

If you enjoy Warhammer memes, dumb humour, and songs that absolutely should not exist but somehow do, give it a listen.

Heresy... and kind of adorable?!

Watch it here and let me know what you think ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ New Facebook Group: Warhammer 40K AI Art

Iโ€™ve just started a new group for anyone who enjoys creating and sharing Warhammer 40K artwork.

AI art, hand-drawn work, digital art, painted miniatures, custom models and conversions are all welcome. As long as itโ€™s 40K, itโ€™s fair game. โš”๏ธ

Come join the group, share your creations, support other artists and help build a fun community without the usual gatekeeping.

Hope to see some of your work in there. ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ’€ WELCOME TO CATACHAN IS COMING ๐Ÿ’€๐ŸŒด

Iโ€™ll be putting the full video together around the beginning of August.

This is a completely unhinged Warhammer 40K parody inspired by Welcome to the Jungle, rebuilt for the deadliest holiday destination in the Imperium: Catachan.

Expect screaming guitars, jungle warfare, oversized muscles, hostile wildlife, and absolutely no chance of surviving the first verse. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Because this is a parody project, it wonโ€™t be released on Spotify, but the full video is planned for YouTube as a transformative comedy tribute.

Welcome to Catachan, guardsman.

Youโ€™re gonna die. ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ”ฅ

Chronicles & Legends

๐Ÿ˜‚ I just found this song from Solar Void and it genuinely made me laugh far harder than it had any right to.

Itโ€™s called Could I Eat You? Maybe? and itโ€™s basically a cheerful ukulele love song about a Tyranid becoming romantically obsessed with one very unfortunate Guardsman named Nibble.

She thinks theyโ€™re flirting.

He is very clearly just trying not to be eaten.

Itโ€™s funny, weirdly wholesome, and completely unhinged in the best possible way. Go give it a watch and show Solar Void some support because this deserves more views. ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’š

Romance is temporary. Biomass is forever.

๐Ÿ’ฅ UPCOMING SONG: MORE DAKKA ๐Ÿ’ฅ

The Orks have found the volume knob, broken it off, and replaced it with a bigger gun.

The Second Light are bringing a brutal, bouncing Warhammer 40K nu-metal track packed with crushing riffs, stomping drums, filthy bass, crooked machinery, and far more ammunition than any sensible person would recommend.

Because there is no such thing as enough Dakka.

Only MORE DAKKA. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’€

Whoโ€™s ready for this one, ya gitz? ๐Ÿ‘‡
