⚠️ Clinical Significance: Macular hole retinal detachment is a vision-threatening condition, most commonly seen in highly myopic eyes but can occur in other settings. Patients typically present with severe central vision loss, distortion, and reduced visual acuity.
🏥 Management: Early surgical intervention with pars plana vitrectomy, internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling, and gas or silicone oil tamponade offers the best chance for retinal reattachment and visual recovery.
