Christ is Risen, alleluia! I pray that you all had a very holy and fruitful Lent and Holy Week, and are now enjoying a most joyful Eastertide.


I wanted to give a brief update on the outlook and plans for the channel both short- and long-term.


I created the channel last year in August and started work on the Liturgical Year at that time, with the tentative goal of completing the work within one year. I quickly realized that it would require an additional year and cycle of the liturgical year in order to fully complete the massive collection. Thus, by this coming mid-August, I do intend to have approximately 90% of the work completed, but will require an additional year to fill in the rest. That time will also allow me to edit and or entirely replace some recordings which need significant reworking. I hope that you are looking forward to the completion of this work as much as I am.

In addition, after creating the channel I also began several other small projects. These include a Catholic history of the Renaissance, called “The Century of Columbus” by James Joseph Walsh; excerpts from de Voragine’s “The Golden Legend”; and “Explanation of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass” (also known by its more modern title, “The Incredible Catholic Mass”) by Fr. Martin von Cochem; and miscellaneous meditations and excerpts from other holy authors. I fully intend to resume work on all of these. As soon as the readings of the Liturgical Year become a little bit less dense, I plan to resume them, particularly Fr. Von Cochem’s "Explanation".

In the longer term, once the bulk of the Liturgical Year is completed, I also plan on branching out into a number of other works. You all have sent me so many fantastic suggestions, I am at somewhat of a loss to decide which I should start first. That is the problem with being Catholic. There is simply too much beauty and goodness in our holy Faith to explore in one lifetime. It seems that only an eternity will suffice for such a task… I may create some surveys on the channel to help me gauge what the listeners would most like to hear.


The outpouring of prayers, support, and kindness from all of you over these months, but particularly during Lent, has been a source of tremendous encouragement and consolation. I can’t thank you enough.


I pray that the work of this channel will continue to enrich the spiritual lives of the faithful, help inspire a global return to the glorious traditions of our Catholic patrimony, and even, God-willing, touch the hearts and minds of those souls who as yet know not the love of Christ in His Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
