I am Bunny
Sheepadoodle
Conversationalist
I'm Bunny, a Sheepadoodle with a little sass and a heart of gold. I like to spend my days playing, eating, and "talking."
People seem to find that last thing pretty exciting, but I don't understand what all the fuss is about. After all, Stella has been doing this for years—she's the one who inspired me to start!
It all started when Bunny's mom, Lex Devine, stumbled upon Christina Hunger's Instagram account.
Inspired by the incredible work Christina and Stella were doing, Lex reached out to see how she and Bunny could get in on the fun. Christina was kind enough to walk them through the process and get them started.
Since then, Bunny has learned over 50 words, been interviewed all over the world, and has millions of followers on social media.
Pets & belly scritches,
Bunny

What About Bunny
I read about the work of @alexandrerossi_oficial early in my journey with Bunny as I fell down endless rabbit holes of interspecies communication. His research on dogs and FaceTime is equally fascinating. One thing I find particularly interesting is that the decision to work with a mixed breed dog was intentional to escape the standard belief that certain breeds of dogs are more intelligent than others. All dogs can do this, and have you seen the cats?! And @sfteachingzoo is proving that so many other species are capable 🔥

What About Bunny
There’s a lot of talk about what the research happening at UCSD's Comparative Cognition Lab proves and what it doesn’t. Here is some of what it shows. Whether or not the results change anything about what science can definitively say, our jobs as guardians is different. Does the use of buttons widen our animal companions lives? Does it improve our relationships? Does it change the way we listen. How have buttons changed these metrics for you?

What About Bunny
Sir John Lubbock and a black poodle named Van. The desire to communicate with other species is not a new phenomenon. I was tickled when I found this account in pages sent to me from @pawsitivebehaviors in a book titled “Practical Dog Training” 1831.

What About Bunny
Hey friends! The long-awaited first episode of MY NEW SERIES is releasing this WEDNESDAY @ 9AM PST! I'll take you through how I built Bunny's board by doing it FROM SCRATCH - adding and modeling each word as we go! This has been a super fun journey, but also an absolute pain to edit - I wanted to make this as easy to follow as possible.
Set your alarms! This ones gonna be good.
