πΈ **TONAL, MODAL OR ATONAL? Do you know the difference?** πΆ
Have you ever wondered why some chord progressions feel like theyβre coming home, while others create a mysterious atmosphere or seem to break all the rules?
It all comes down to how we organize sounds! π΅
π‘ **Tonal harmony** β direction, tension and resolution.
π΅ **Modal harmony** β color, character and atmosphere.
π©· **Atonal harmony** β freedom from a traditional tonal center.
Understanding these three approaches can open up new creative possibilities for your playing, songwriting, improvisation and composition.
π **Your turn!** Which approach do you use most in your music: tonal, modal or atonal? And which one would you like to explore more?

βCan You Play All 7 of These MAJ7 Chords? π€―πΆβ
Amaj7
A beautiful, warm-sounding major 7 chord. Great for mellow, romantic, and jazz-influenced
progressions.
Bmaj7 β 2nd fret
Has a smooth and dreamy character. Works especially well when moving between major chords.
Cmaj7 β 3rd fret
One of the most useful MAJ7 sounds for beginners. It gives a softer, more colorful version of the regular C major chord.
Dmaj7 β 5th fret
Bright and sophisticated. Excellent for creating a relaxed, emotional atmosphere.
Emaj7 β 7th fret
Rich and silky-sounding. It can add a more polished feel to an otherwise simple progression.
Fmaj7 β 8th fret
Warm, smooth, and slightly dreamy. A great alternative to a standard F major chord.
Gmaj7 β 10th fret
Clear and elegant, with the characteristic major-7th color. Perfect for mellow chord progressions.
