🎓 In a world with ChatGPT, education will no longer be confined to the classroom. It becomes a 24/7 resource for students to explore, learn, and create.
🏫 Schools should become places where students learn how to work with information, question and verify answers, and use AI safely for brainstorming, exploration and creativity.
🧠 But above all, students must develop the knowledge and skills to think, create and solve problems independently, even without AI.
📚 This task is part of the @RehanSchool Curriculum and the Rehan AI Teachers Training Program – Level 1, Day 23 (Post with ChatGPT).
🧠 Learning is not about age or stage, but about mindset, discipline, and continuous growth.
Why do so many of us stop learning after school?
We graduate, find jobs, develop professional skills, and often stop questioning what we know, what we believe, and how our own minds work.
Meanwhile, social media competes for our attention, algorithms learn what keeps us scrolling, and AI makes answers available without necessarily requiring us to think.
🧠 Today, I am working on another task Day 20 from the @RehanSchool AI Teachers Training Curriculum, and I have a few concerns about the title. I think it deserves to be challenged:
One of the most problematic characteristics of language models is that they can present incorrect information with the same fluency, structure, and confidence as correct information.
A student may not have enough knowledge to recognize an error. Worse, the clarity and sophistication of the explanation may actually make the error more believable.
𝟮. 💬 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Interacting with AI can turn into a continuous process of checking facts, challenging claims, requesting sources, and correcting errors.
For someone who already knows the subject, this can become an exercise in critical thinking.
But what happens when the student doesn't know enough to challenge the answer?
We cannot assume that a student will question an answer simply because the technology allows them to ask questions.
𝟯. 🎯 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Conversational design can encourage prolonged interaction, and engagement is not automatically evidence of educational benefit.
Are we designing AI to make students think more independently, or to make them to maximize attachment or time spent talking to AI?
𝟰. 🌍 𝗔 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵
We already live in an information environment where misleading claims can spread rapidly, repetition can create an impression of credibility, and people often share information without verifying it.
Now we are introducing systems capable of producing convincing explanations on virtually any subject, at an enormous scale.
That means education cannot simply celebrate how easily students can obtain answers.
It must teach them how to evaluate those answers.
And verification should not become an impossible burden placed entirely on the user. AI systems themselves must also be held accountable for reliability, transparency about uncertainty, and the correction of errors.
Classrooms as places where students make decisions, face consequences, defend their reasoning and learn to lead. 🧠
𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 such as AI 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, where students solve real-world dilemmas; 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, where every economic and social decision has consequences; AI 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, where clues require genuine reasoning; 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 & 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, where students separate reliable information from manipulation; or 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀, where information is divided across a team and students must communicate, delegate and take responsibility. 🎯
A teacher with a projector, a few devices and AI acting as the simulation engine, creating scenarios, introducing unexpected events and responding to students' decisions.
Do not use AI to make learning easier. Use AI to make thinking harder, deeper and more consequential. 💡

📚 This Day 19 Story Post task from the @RehanSchool Curriculum and Rehan AI Teachers Training Program turned into ideas for practical use in schools.
A wealthy man had fallen into a river. The current was pulling him away, and he was desperately struggling to keep his head above water. People rushed to the riverbank.
“Give me your hand!” one man shouted.
The rich man kept struggling.
“Give me your hand!” another yelled, reaching as far as he could.
Still nothing.
The crowd began to panic. The man was getting weaker. 😨
Then Mulla Nasruddin arrived.
He looked at the drowning man. He looked at the people shouting. And suddenly, he understood.
Nasruddin leaned over the river and called: “Here! TAKE my hand!”
Immediately, the rich man grabbed it.
Nasruddin pulled him safely onto the bank.
Everyone stared at him. “How did you do that? We kept telling him to give us his hand!”
Nasruddin smiled.
One word had made all the difference.
Nasruddin changed one word - “𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲” 𝘁𝗼 “𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲” - and exposed 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴.

One evening, Mulla Nasruddin appeared outside the Sultan's magnificent palace and began shouting:
📢 “Two questions! Just 100 silver dinars! Ask me anything, and I shall answer!”
People stopped in disbelief.
“100 silver dinars? For just TWO questions? Has Nasruddin completely lost his mind?”
The commotion soon reached the Sultan.
👑 Furious at such arrogance, he stormed out of the palace, surrounded by his guards.
“NASRUDDIN!” he thundered. “Do you seriously expect anyone to pay 100 silver dinars for just two questions?”
The crowd fell silent.
Nasruddin looked at the Sultan, bowed respectfully, and replied with a perfectly straight face:
😌 “Yes, Your Majesty. And what is your second question?”
For a moment, nobody moved.
Then laughter erupted through the crowd.
The Sultan had walked straight into Nasruddin's trap! 😂
