I’m Aaron—an American living in Germany for the past 7 years, taking you on the ground to explore historic sites, scenic towns, and castle ruins across Germany and beyond.
Every episode is an on-the-ground tour featuring charming Old Towns, medieval castles, and ancient sites—blending regional history with the scenic beauty that makes these locations worth visiting (plus the occasional flashlight tour after dark). While my focus is on lesser-known spots away from the crowds, we’ll occasionally check out the more famous locations, too!

The past days have been heavy with the filming load but at the same time, it brought back a lot of joy and inspiration behind why I do my YouTube channel. The Middle Rhein River is my favorite part of Germany. I love this part of Germany. Truly. I needed this week away to go back to a place which I hiked regularly the past years when living in Frankfurt.
