I’ve finally built the answer. Every place I've eaten on my travels is now on one map. 474 of them across 12 countries, each with the actual pin and my note on what to order.
Five places in every country are free to open, no sign-up, no email. If you want the rest of a country it's a few quid, one time, no subscription, and it saves straight into your own Google Maps, so the pins are sitting on your phone while you're actually there.
No sponsored spots, ever. If it's on the map I ate there and I'd go back.
