Tamalpais Brass is a professional brass quintet dedicated to presenting engaging and imaginative performances for concert halls, churches, festivals, and educational audiences.
Drawing on backgrounds in orchestral, chamber, and academic music-making, the ensemble performs repertoire spanning five centuries—from Renaissance masterworks and sacred music to contemporary compositions and original arrangements.
Current programs include Echoes of the Cathedral, Prismatic, and themed concerts exploring music from Byrd to Bernstein.
The ensemble takes its name from Mount Tamalpais in Marin County, California.
