Apparently, I need to make this clear because some people love to judge what they don’t even create themselves, or even know the full context about a content creator they’re following, so long reality check. let’s have a TED Talk.
I think sometimes people need to hear the full context to truly grasp the hardships of somebody else’s reality. That “lazy” and “you need to create new videos” judgment about me is so disconnected from reality that it’s honestly absurd.
First of all, I promise you, from the bottom of my heart, I do not care about negativity. I have had YouTube/social media long enough to experience the absolute worst of it. What matters to me is truth and full context, so let’s be loud and clear before you try to judge me or any content creator similar to me, for that matter.
I got deleted twice at 10k subscribers and three times total. YouTube is not my friend — Patreon is. I never said I was going back to making YouTube my full-time posting platform or uploading every single piece of content I create when YouTube has repeatedly deleted my channels, and shown me it’s untrustworthy for me as a content creator to consistently post ALL my videos on, and I also make NOTHING from posting these audios to YouTube and haven’t for a very long time. I make my income from Patreon and commissions now, and make way more than I ever made with YouTube. It was not fair to me, my efforts, or my time, and YouTube constantly fucked me over after hitting so many milestones and achievements.
This YouTube channel only exists to promote my Patreon, reconnect with supporters who lost me when my channels got deleted, and give people who enjoy my content something to watch if they just can’t afford to pay, as I know lot of you find them comforting/entertaining. However, I have been clear that if you want my consistent weekly uploads to go to my PATREON, and that I have BEEN moved to it as my main consistent platform a long time ago. I am constantly saying that ALL my videos are on there, and promoting my Patreon consistently, and that has been shown very clearly if you look at my community posts.
I have over 120+ videos, and just because you don’t see them being uploaded for free publicly does not mean they are not being made. I write my own content, edit my own videos, create my own thumbnails, market/promote my own work, and build everything myself. I also create 1–3 commission videos a week on top of my Patreon content because I genuinely love creating. That is not laziness. That is passion. I put a lot of time, effort, and care into every single video I make. I love creating, it makes me happy. I love building stories, characters, and content that people enjoy. I wouldn’t even dare to think to be “lazy” towards it. The fact that I am able to consistently create 1–3 commission videos on top of my weekly Patreon videos is not a complaint about my workload or an ask for pity. It’s a full-blown PRAISE that I even get to be able to do this as a job. I LOVE creating, and it truly is one of my biggest passions, and a huge blessing to me.
As for the Youtube audio post quantity — I like getting paid for what I love to do, for my time, and for my effort, just like anyone else does for their jobs. Please learn to understand why I wouldn’t want to post all of my 120+ videos for free, that’s also my time, and my effort that deserves recognition. That’s why there so limited on Youtube, That’s it. YouTube does not pay me for my work anymore (and hasn’t for a long time), so I know my boundaries when it comes to where my content is being prioritized. I am also trying very hard not to get deleted for the ten millionth time, which is another reason I choose to post slowly the way I do on YouTube now.
As for what gets uploaded to my YouTube channel, I post whatever audio wins in polls. It does not matter if it is new or older because it is still MINE — my writing, my effort, my time, and a video I am proud of. I refuse to give my video some idiotic posting expiration date, as I am equally proud of every last video I have ever made. Sometimes it’s new, sometimes it’s older, but it is still content I chose to share because I have EVERY right to be proud of every last audio I’ve ever made, no matter when I made it. If old reposts annoy you or make you think I am “lazy” or “not making new content,” you are free to leave my channel and unsubscribe, because clearly you don’t want to understand the full context and circumstances, and that’s okay. I don’t need you to, but my truth STILL deeply stands.
I am VERY aware that not everyone has the circumstances to pay for content, and that was never the problem. I completely understand that, The problem is when someone assumes that because they cannot see my newest work for free, that it somehow means I am not creating hard enough or that I do not care anymore? That will never be true, I am consistent in what I do.
Before making assumptions about someone’s work ethic or snap judgments, understand that you are only seeing one small part of what they do. Half the the time, YouTube hasn’t even been a pleasant experience for me due to all I went through with it, and I am allowed to love something else more and spend my time and efforts elsewhere — which for me, is my Patreon and commission work.
The only reason I even came back to make another YouTube channel after being deleted so many times was to help my supporters find me again and get my Patreon engagement up, because truthfully, I just don’t trust YouTube to keep my videos safe.
Being a content creator comes with a lot of pressure, and trust me, I’ve BEEN knew that. I never claimed to be a perfect content creator, but I know damn sure that I am a good one, and a hell of a real one. Please don’t claim to like me or my content just to follow it up with negativity or backhanded compliments. I work hard as hell, I love what I do so much, and nobody sees the joy to the level that I DO when I’m getting ready to record a video and how happy it makes me. If you’re an actual supporter of me, you would know how much I love creating as well because you’ve seen it.
I love being a content creator, and I would never continue putting my efforts into something I didn’t love. I can’t stay somewhere that I don’t have a passion for, it’s not who I am as a person, and I genuinely have a passion for this. I have been doing this since late 2022, and lost so many good videos because of YouTube fucking me over, but I continue to do it, because I love it, I never let those downfalls knock me down from something that is a dream job in my eyes. Content creators get so much shit, but I know damn sure I try my absolute best every day toward this, and if that’s not enough for you, that’s not my problem.
I appreciate my REAL loyal sweet supporters who understand my circumstances genuinely and continue supporting me through all of it, whether that is free or paid/commissions.
