In 1727, a small Christian community in Herrnhut, Saxony, began an around-the-clock prayer watch following a period of spiritual renewal and reconciliation. Members took assigned hours so that prayer continued 24 hours a day—a practice remembered in Moravian history as continuing for roughly 100 years.

The community’s influence soon reached far beyond Germany. The Moravians became pioneers of the Protestant missionary movement, sending missionaries across the world. By 1791, historical accounts report that around 300 missionaries had been sent out—an extraordinary missionary impact from a relatively small community.

What began with a group of believers committed to continual prayer became part of a movement that carried the Gospel around the world.

Archaeologists studying ancient Mesopotamia have uncovered fascinating evidence that confirms the biblical account of the Tower of Babel.

At the site of Babylon, they found the remains of a massive ziggurat called Etemenanki—a towering temple built to reach the heavens, matching the Bible’s description of the “tower with its top in heaven” (Genesis 11:4).

They also uncovered the famous Code of Hammurabi, a unified set of laws carved into stone—showing the rise of the first empire that brought together many city-states under one king, just as the Bible describes Nimrod’s kingdom (Genesis 10:8-9).

The name Babel means “confusion” in Hebrew, reflecting God’s judgment when He confused the language of the people to stop their prideful plans (Genesis 11:9). Ancient tablets like the Enmerkar text speak of multiple languages caused by the gods and the hope for unity which mirror the biblical story of language division and scattering.

History and archaeology have once again caught up with the Bible, confirming its truth in astonishing ways.

God still heals.

People were spread around the room in personal worship time during the Faith on Fire Conference. A few of us were roaming the room, following the leading of the Holy Spirit for who to lay hands on and minister to. I remember circling one woman like a shark about five times, feeling drawn to her but not sure why yet. Still without a word from the Lord, I decided to go over to her anyway, expecting God to show me after I acted.

Sure enough, about ten seconds after I started praying for her, the Lord drew my attention to her back. I asked her, “Is something wrong with your back?” The size of her eyes doubled in shock. “Yes!” She explained what had been going on. I laid hands on her back and spoke to it to be healed by the authority of Jesus.

Then I told her to do something she hadn’t done before. She bent over to try and touch her toes. Her eyes were wide again. “I couldn’t do that before! This is one of my daily exercises!” She demonstrated how limited she had been before. She couldn’t even go half as far as she was now. Emotionally she told me, “I came here asking God for healing.”

God is not unwilling to heal people. He is waiting on people to take a leap of faith and believe His Word: “I am the LORD who heals you.”

The family of 83-year-old Canadian grandmother Brigitte Stegemann is demanding answers after she died through Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program. Her family says the Christian grandmother had previously refused MAiD because it violated her faith. They also say she suffered from cognitive decline and severe hearing impairment, raising concerns about whether she fully understood what she was consenting to.

According to her granddaughter, just two days before her scheduled death, she explained to Stegemann that the procedure would end her life. She says her grandmother became shocked, cried and repeatedly said, “I made a mistake.” She was reportedly told she could still refuse the day of the “procedure.”

Yet her family alleges that on the day of the procedure, Stegemann gave no verbal response, nod, or acknowledgment when asked whether they could proceed, and the life-ending drugs were administered anyway.

The case is now under investigation.

Researchers investigating the boat-shaped Durupınar formation in Turkey are making their strongest claims yet. Andrew Jones of Noah’s Ark Scans says, “I believe this is Noah’s Ark,” and claims their latest research has “100% confirmed” to their satisfaction that the formation is man-made.

Ground-penetrating radar has reportedly revealed linear structures, right angles and cavity-like spaces, and researchers are now drilling into the site. At one location, a drill reportedly struck an extremely hard layer and broke, with researchers investigating whether the material could be mineralized or petrified wood. That has not yet been confirmed.

Noah’s Ark itself has not been scientifically confirmed, and laboratory testing is still underway—but the investigation is certainly getting interesting.

🚨 PLEASE PRAY 🙏

This is Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter. He lost his eldest son, Moshe Yedidya, while he was serving in Gaza in 2023. Now his son Neria, an IDF reservist, is fighting for his life after being critically wounded in a car-ramming attack while serving at a checkpoint in the West Bank. Neria suffered a severe head injury and underwent hours of emergency brain surgery. Doctors have stabilized him, but say his life remains in danger.

His father is asking people to pray, saying: “I believe in the power of prayer… Neria needs a miracle.”

I had the honor earlier this month of meeting Ambassador Yechiel Leiter. Not only did he take time to educate us in a formal capacity but I had the pleasure of being invited to share lunch as well where we could ask deeper questions, and have more personal discussion.

He was such a pleasure to meet, and I’ll never forget the seriousness of his tone—just like a father—when he shook my hand and said, “You have a great responsibility.”

I am praying for Neria to be completely healed and restored, and for this family to be strengthened by God. 🙏

When Minnesota mom Kari Thorp stepped outside to meet her 6-year-old daughter’s school bus, she spotted flames near the front tire and immediately yelled “Fire!” Thorp and driver Rick Gratton sprang into action, getting all 22 children safely off the bus.
