This one is for the tennis parents who became the coach because they had to.
* Maybe private coaching every week isn’t in the budget.
* Maybe you live somewhere without a high-performance coach nearby.
* Maybe you’re travelling to tournaments and your kid’s coach simply can’t be there.
We know that situation very well.
When Cade was growing up, we didn’t always have access to the coaching or resources that players in bigger tennis centres had. So a lot of the time, we had to figure things out ourselves.
We filmed matches. We talked about what happened afterward. We looked for patterns. We figured out what kept costing him points, went home and worked on it, then tested it again in the next tournament.
Play → review → adjust → practice → play again.
Was Dad a professional tennis coach? Nope. 😂
But having a simple process gave us direction instead of randomly deciding what to work on every week.
That experience is a big part of why we built Ace Tennis Coach.
Ace isn't meant to replace a great coach. It's there for the players and parents who don't always have one courtside or who want some direction between lessons.
Log the match. Save what happened. Find the pattern. Build the next practice around it.
Then go play again.
That's how we did it. And that's the loop we're trying to make easier for everyone else with Ace.

I didn’t expect to say this…
After a few weeks with the Wilson Defyer 100, I think I actually like it more than the 98 in a lot of ways.
Except for one thing.
It bothered me enough that I already started adding lead to the frame.

What would make you add lead to a brand-new racquet?
Power? Stability? Control? Something else?
