IF A HUMAN LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, CAN WE EVER AFFORD TO “MOVE FAST AND FIX IT LATER”?

In space, there is no ambulance. No repair crew. No easy way home.

So what happens when the system protecting an astronaut fails?

That question sits at the heart of my latest conversation on Spacefront Conversation with Renuka Rambhatla, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Metakosmos®.

We went beyond the usual conversation about rockets and spacecraft to explore something much deeper.

How do we build systems humans can trust when operating beyond Earth?

One of the biggest takeaways for me was that compliance isn't simply about following rules.

It is about creating trust, resilience and confidence in systems when the consequences of failure can be extraordinary.

And as humanity moves toward the Moon, Mars and increasingly commercial human spaceflight, the question becomes even more important: Are our safety systems evolving fast enough for the future we are building?

Swipe through the carousel for some key insights from our conversation. ➡️

If you could identify ONE risk that the space industry is currently underestimating, what would it be?

Technology? Human factors? Regulation? Psychological health? AI? System integration? Something else?

Drop your answer in the comments — and tag someone who should be part of this conversation.

NEW EPISODE ANNOUNCEMENT | SPACEFRONT CONVERSATION

What happens when public health, compliance, quality systems, and space engineering come together?

I’m excited to welcome Renuka Rambhatla, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer at Metakosmos, on Spacefront Conversation.

In this episode, we go beyond the traditional idea of a spacesuit and explore the systems that make human spaceflight safer, smarter, and more reliable.

What I particularly enjoyed about this conversation was exploring a question that goes far beyond compliance:
How do we build systems that humans can trust when operating beyond Earth?

Renuka brings a unique perspective to this conversation, connecting human safety, regulatory thinking, engineering, and the future of space exploration.

This is a conversation about more than spacesuits.

It’s about building the systems that protect humanity as we move beyond Earth.

Coming soon on Spacefront Conversation!!!

WHAT IF THE NEXT GENERATION OF SPACE EXPLORERS STARTS WITH 12,000 GIRLS?

Space is often described through rockets, satellites, missions and technology.

But behind every mission are people, dreams, education and opportunity.

In this carousel, we take you behind our conversation with Sukruti Narayanan on Spacefront Conversation — exploring her journey across space, STEM education, science communication, ethical storytelling and global empowerment.

From Mission ShakthiSAT and its vision to engage 12,000 girls across 108 countries, to the importance of making STEM accessible and inspiring the next generation of women in space — this conversation asks a bigger question:

Who gets to participate in humanity’s future in space?

And perhaps even more importantly:
What happens when we give young girls the opportunity to believe that they belong there?
